Takata recall - the driver's side airbag was serviced, but the passenger side is original. I have been unable to use the passenger-side front seat of my car for nearly a year because I don't want my passengers sitting near the defective airbag.
Takata recall. After 3 years, Ford still does not have my passenger side inflator ready to install. This is ridiculous, and I refuse to be forced to take my vehicle into the dealer twice for the airbags. Please direct Ford to get both replacement inflators into stock immediately so that I can get my vehicle fixed once and for all. Three years is far too long to wait! what is the holdup!?
Takata recall I have been waiting since June 1 for a repair of this recall. The dealer is still waiting on parts. I cannot let anyone ride in the front passenger seat for fear of injury.
Takata recall - - takata holdings Inc has filed for chapter 11 and has not made a replacement available for their defective and dangerous passenger side airbag which is still installed in my vehicle. I want it replaced and takata must make these repairs immediately at no cost to me or my family. Any passenger in my vehicle is at risk of injury or death from shrapnel should the airbag be deployed. Takata has replaced the driver side airbag but has not made a passenger side replacement available and it appears that it will not become available. In lieu of replacement, takata wants us to agree to a class action settlement and walk away from their responsibility with regard to manufacturing a safe replacement part to resolve the issue once and for all. We want the part replaced, not a cash settlement!

Takata recall - I have been trying to get a replacement airbag for this defective airbag since August of 2016. I have contacted C&C Ford in horsham pa several several times (joe in service) and they have stated they have not received any replacement airbags to remove the defective one. This is an extreme hazard to myself and passengers. I have a difficult time getting anyone to drive with me now because of it. Having recently become pregnant I fear for my life and my unborn babies. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. I am afraid every time I get in my car now. Having to wait well over a year for a defective airbag that was forced into my car is not acceptable. I need this defect removed and a safe airbag put in my car immediately. I cannot have my passengers or unborn child harmed because of this insanity. My vehicle is still in tack.
Takata recall -- I recieved notice of the faulty airbag in the winter of 2017 that I had this recall on my car. I set an appointment in the spring of 2017 to have it replace but they did not have the parts at that time. It is currently November of 2017 and I still have not been notified that the parts are available to repair this recall. I was told by re barber Ford of holland to keep an eye on my mail for notification.
My car was recalled for faulty airbags. The driver side has been replaced, however the passenger side has not been replaced. It has been 18 months since bringing the car to the dealership for replacement airbags. Every time I ask the dealership for the passenger airbag the dealer states that there are none in stock.
Takata recall, I am unable to drive my vehicle with a passenger due to the passenger, from airbag not being replaced. I am told there is no replacement airbag manufactured for this vehicle.
Recall has dragged on for quite a long time. We had the drivers air bag replaced last summer with the promise of the other air bag be replaced as soon as it was released. I just called the dealer and they said the passenger air bag has still not released for our area. Safety for the passenger?
I took my car in to have the drivers side air bag replaced once there I was imformed that the dealership only had the drivers side and not the passenger side which also needed replacement. About 6 months later I was imformed that the driver side may have been replaced with another defected air bag its been almost a year and a half and still they have not replaced these air bags. Each time I call the dealership they imform me they stiill do not have any replacement bags period from takata what is going on "??"

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs because he received the recall notice over a year ago. The dealer (mooresville Ford, Inc., 151 E plaza dr, mooresville, nc 28115 (704) 312-4386) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact stated that he recently received a postcard from tk holding alerting him that they filed for bankruptcy. Takata recall: Rec'd letter regarding recall July 2016, still unable to have passenger airbag inflator replaced. I have called dealership numerous times and they still do not have the airbags to replace the faulty one. I am in fear if anyone is riding with me, and the damage it may cause, even life. Nothing has happened as of yet and I am thankful. I try to avoid passengers due to this malfunction. When will these be available"?"
Drivers side airbag was replaced after waiting for months, only to find out there was another airbag on board car with recall, but, no available parts to perform safety update !!!
