My Ford Mustang still needs it's recalled passenger airbag replaced - 10 months after receiving a recall notice letter from Ford. Repeated calls to the dealer and Ford customer service have not helped and Ford will give no specific information when the recall repair will occur, why the delay has been so long or what the cause of the delay is. They do not offer any specific department to speak with regarding this and when I asked for an address of someone I could send a letter to, I was told "they don't have that information. "

Takata recall - I, along with others, am still waiting for the passenger side airbag to be replaced by Ford. It has now been over a year since the recall, and the part is unavailable. The person at vista Ford told me I shouldn't drive the car with anyone in the passenger seat -- I should put them in the back, which is barely comfortable for a dog. Then I called Ford Motor Co, whose rep told me that Ford and the NHTSA say the car is perfectly safe to drive while I'm waiting for the recall. Isn't Ford liable and do you really endorse continuing to drive passengers in the front? nobody knows when the part will be available -- I'm extremely concerned.

I got the notice in May 2016 and now in December 2016 I still can't get Ford to replace the airbag under the recall. It is a recall, for goodness sake and anyone driving with me could be killed by the passenger airbag...how long must I wait"???"
