I was backing out of my driveway and the car did not go more than 10 feet backwards when the whole system shut down and had to restart. It took more than 10 minutes to restart and it took 3-4 times of putting on the brake and pushing the start button before the system would re-initiate. This was the second time the car had done this and the whole system and to re-start. I took it to the Ford dealership in upland, ca and they did a system/charging circuits-charge-test and nothing came from the test. The car is still under warranty but since they did not find anything it cost me $ 95.
I had driven the car the previous day and parked it in my driveway and the car was completely dead the next morning. I had replaced the battery only 4 months prior. It was a new battery. I took it to the Ford dealership in upland and they tested starting and charging system circuits-charge-test nothing came up. I had charged the battery earlier that day to get the car to the dealership. This is the second time the car had completely discharged the battery and both times there was nothing wrong with the battery.
Takata recall this car does not have reliable breaks I was in an accident on 12/26/18. I applied the brakes and nothing happened. Now I'm left with being responsible for this. And the steering wheel airbag blew smoke in my face and this car has two open recalls and it's a rental through hertz
Almost everytime I put my car into reverse, it puts itself back to park. It happens sometimes when I put it into drive- it will put itself back into park.I took it to the dealership and they replaced the actuator, but it is still doing it.

The etb has been an issue in the past, reference 'customer satisfaction program (13N03)'. I deem this a critical safety concern, if I was a Ford engineer on my fmea this failure mode severity is a 10, I work in automotive. I have photos and videos of the incident.

Ford Fusion 2017 has lost all electrical power while driving at highway speed. Brought car in to be checked at the dealership. I was told nothing was wrong and that it was safe to drive. However losing power at 55 miles an hour cannot be something that is safe.
While trying to use auto in windows the window would go up then right back down sis it like 17 times back to back. Also after shutting car off while sitting in the car it pushed the lock button and received a message saying something about switches
My car windows will go up and then automatic come back down. The radio switchs channels on its own. The car stalls out and won't start. This has happen and gotten repaired more than 6 times in the last 1.5 years. It has happened again this pass weekend. My local Ford dealership is going to fix again. As of now I am paying for a car that Ford keeps saying does not fit under the Maryland lemon law. This car clearly has some serious electrical issues that Ford does not even understand. I am putting the latest date on it, but it has happen multiple times in the last year and a half. These problems occur while driving or stopped at a light or parked.
My 2017 Fusion has completely stalled on 2 different occasions while driving. The latest incident occurred on 3/4/18. As I proceeded to make a left turn at a busy intersection..the car shut off with no warning. We were almost rear ended by another person. The car would not start until someone gave us a boost. My hazards were also ineffective. My car stayed at the bronde Ford dealership for 4 days and they said that there were no codes so there are no problems. My child and I were in grave danger and still in danger because they can't find a solution. I'm terrified to drive with my baby.
Driving on road roughly 40 mph and vehicle completely lost power. Car lost power and started slowing down. Error message on the dash "full accessory power active:. needed to immediately pull off to the right of the road in order to avoid traffic. This is a serious issue.
Just after leaving dealership for the cars first oil change, the car no longer has blinkers, wipers (except fast speed) and all steering wheel controls are inactive.
Have had car for just one year 18676 miles and it has turned off randomly 3 times during this time. Randomly under light driving conditions while making a turn the car looses power and when you look at the dash it says full accessory like you just pushed the button with out touching the brake to start. Once coasted to a safe location you can restart the car and everything runs fine. No codes are logged when this issue occurs. This could be a serious issue as you have no warning when it happens and it leaves the car without power.
I have owned my Ford Fusion since March 2017. Twice since June 2017 I have come out to a car that will not start. The first time this occurred wthere was no way for us to manually jump the car due to the plastic guard had not been removed. It took 2 days for maintenance to replace the battery and that was all that was diagnosed. August 27, 2017, again my car would not start nor were we able to jump it.
Since purchasing the car in January of 2017 I have not been able to connect my smartphone to the navigation system on the screen it will work sometimes even though I download the appropriate apps for my phone it will not connect. I have taken the car in 3 different occasions to Ford of montebello and the problem persists. The touchscreen also has flickered and turn on off numerous times while I was driving the car. Both of my front driver side window and passenger window have had a tendency to not roll all the way up and at the same time rolled down and then they would start doing it repeatedly until I turn the car off open my driver side door turn the car back on and then it would stop.
