My climate control does not work Radio volume does not work and windows are locked unfortunately I roll down my windows when this happened and now they-??re stuck open this has been occurring off and on I know this is happening to others as well something needs to be done.For all I know my airbags and we-??re not working is this malfunction

After backing into the road to leave a driveway I shifted the gear shift down into the drive position but the transmission only shifted to neutral. The car would not shift into drive or reverse and had to be pushed out of the road. With my car in the road I had to get out and wave other vehicles around my vehicle while calling for assistance to get my vehicle out of the road. My attempt to keep other vehicles from hitting my car, or hitting me while it was unable to be driven off the road to safety. After getting my car to a Ford dealership I was informed that a bushing had deteriorated on the shifter cable causing it to detach from the transmission. When I look this problem up online it says there is a recall for Ford Fusions manufactured at the Hermosillo plant between Feb. 9, 2012 and April 4, 2016. My car was manufactured at the Hermosillo plant in January of 2016 but my VIN is not included in this recall. I called Ford customer service, but all they can say is my car isn't included in the recall and they are unwilling or unable to provide with the the details that would exclude my vehicle. I would like to file this as a complaint that this vehicle should be covered under the recall and requests the specifics of the recall so that I might understand why my vehicle is not included. It is the right year, make, model... made at the assembly plant included and has the very specific problem for which the vehicles were recalled.

The transmission shifter bushing is made of plastic, degraded and broke off. Please look at other Ford Fusion trims from 2013-2016. Ford posted this as a recall for some trims but for some reason not for my vin but it-??s the same crap design.

We purchased a used 2016 Ford Fusion with about 11,000 miles on it. Within the first 2 weeks we started having issues. These issues have been going on for several years with no fix from Ford. The issues involve the dash not working, no heat, AC, no power steering, no break lights, no headlights, no turn signals. We go to start the car and the main screen never turns on. Basically we have the ability to use the gas and brake and nothing else. We-??ve had the car back to the dealership multiple times. Each time they-??ve hooked the computer up to the car they-??ve said it throws so many codes they don-??t know where to start. They wipe the codes, give us the car back and say if it does it agin bring it back. Well we did just that and the usual process repeated. They told us today they couldn-??t fix what was wrong unless the problem happened while they-??re driving it. 2 times now I-??ve narrowly avoided an accident because of the cars electrical system dying while driving it. This car is unsafe to drive as this happens randomly. Ford has been less than helpful at resolving this issue since we-??ve bought the car. We-??ve got several warranties on this car and it seems to be all for nothing. We also have video and picture proof of these incidents. Ford refuses to look at them stating they need the vehicle to do it while they-??re driving it after the massive amounts of codes are cleared.

I've had the car for about 8 months now. First the seats stopped moving back and forth. No warranty on the car so took it to my local Ford and they said it was off its track. A month later the same problem occurred and they said my seat stopped sending commands to the computer. Now three months later my car randomly started making a loud rattling noise. Got louder every time I started the car. So once again took it to my nearby Ford. They checked it out and said my flex plate has cracked all around and that it would be a $1600 repair. This car is still fairly new. Looked into it and it seems a lot of people are having the same experience and Ford is aware of the malfunction after many complaints but still has not made it a recall. Very upsetting that I will be without a car for a week and have to pay $1600 just to get it fixed when it seems to be a mass problem. Took it to a outside shop and they said they've heard about the problem before and it's more than just the flexplate but there's no one around that can do the job.

The accessory protocol interface module (apim) fails after a few years, leaving the car phone inoperable on the sync system, forcing the user to manually dial and place calls on their cell phone while driving, which has become illegal in many states as it takes the drivers eyes off the road for periods at a time. The Ford Fusion also has issues with leakage in the trunk. I was under the assumption that I was the only one, until searching the internet to find that various Fusion owners have experienced the same issue. I believe this is a safety issue, because it may start to affect the lights in the trunk or any other electrical systems that run through it, start to rust areas in the trunk, and cause mold if not properly dried immediately.

I was getting ready to leave to work my car has been parked outside my house I got in tried starting it and dont want to turn on I took it to autozone to have battery checked and battery is good it will start if I get a jump I called my mechanic and he says it could be my alternator I dont see how I barley got the car I seen that there was some issues with the alternator on my car

Trunk pops open randomly while driving or parked several times a day. When I shut it, I can hear it clicking sometimes & it pops back open by itself. Other times, it's silent and I think it's ok and it pops back open again. The fob is not on me when this happens, I'm not touching the vehicle at all. It has started since winter began. Please look into this, I found years worth of consumer complaints just doing a simple online search to help me figure this out. Obvious manufacturers flaw.

As I was driving the wrench symbol came on (see manual), then ABS, traction control, engine fluid temp, no directionals, no heat or directionals, no dash lights, low tire pressure, and hill assist lights all came on and off. I was doing highway speeds. While this is a new to me car I have always had Ford including an Excursion and more recently an 07 Focus that died at 300,000. I never had any issues with them albeit they were both new. I am totally disappointed in this vehicle and it really has me thinking about never buying a Ford again.

This vehicle frequently loses climate control function causing lack of heat or A/C in the vehicle. This occurs at random during both initial start up, and randomly while driving the vehicle at various speeds. In certain weather conditions the lack of climate control and defrosting capabilities causes loss of visibility which is extremely dangerous especially at highway speeds when frosting/fogging of windshield can happen rapidly. My Ford dealer cannot diagnose the issue as it is intermittent and unpredictable. This issue has occurred 5 times in 4 months.

Everytime I go over 60 mph I hear a rattling nose from the front passenger door and I know there's a safety recall for Ford Fusion door latch so I called the dealer and also Ford customer service but both said there's no recall with my VIN but I can hear it and I'm afraid that my passenger door might open while driving. Ford wants me to pay out of my pocket for dealer to look at it but I'm broke due to pendamic.

Cross traffic system fault and blind spot system fault warnings intermittently appear. When this happens the climate control, entertainment control shuts off. All windows other than the driver's window cannot be operated from the driver's control. Other controls on the touchscreen become inoperable. The windshield wipers will turn on and swipe once or twice even though there is no moisture and low humidity. These things will happen while driving and then go back to normal operation while driving two to 20 minutes later. My concern is that there is a module or system that is malfunctioning and while it hasn't been a safety issue yet, I worry that at some point I may be driving and the errors may cause loss of steering or braking or engine to turn off or accelerate or lights may turn off at night which would have a potential to injure or cause a fatal occurrence to myself, my family or an innocent person that happens to be near me. These issues have been going on for quite awhile and no one can seem to find a solution. It was looked at by a Ford dealer, independent mechanics and reported to Ford to establish a record with them. One mechanic feels it is all related to the BCM body control module. I am giving a date below because that is required. The issues began prior to that date and many times since. That is the date we started keeping records.

I was driving my 2016 Ford fushion the breaks hit the floor and wouldn't break any more I was around the corner from discount tire and service center and took the car to get serviced on 08/12/2020 they found all the fluid was out and the left brake hose was leaking they serviced my car replaced the hose refilled the fluid and returned my car the next day on 09/18/20 my brake pedal hit the floor again luckily I was parked as I tried to reverse I noticed the brake pedal wasn't working I couldn't drive the car nomore I had to call a tow truck. I took again to discount tire center and they noticed my right hose had popped they stated there is no reason why they should be leaking or coming off on such a new car it's a 2016 Ford fushion I'm concerned for my safety I'm scared to drive the vechile I've read a lot of complaints saying people have got into car crashes because of brake problems with the Ford fushion I've been very blessed I don't want nothing else to happen to me or anyone else on the road. Ford needs to take action into this problem this is a serious problem we are talking about innocent life's I've been lucky to have this problem and not crashing into anybody let's stand together and take action if you have any problems with your Ford fushion speak up! I'm going to look into everything I can do I'm worried for my safety I hope this does not happen again.
