I got into an accident around May 3rd. Roughly around 11 pm to 12 am. To inform whomever is reading, none of the issues I will list have happened prior to this event. At the accident my car would not turn on, and it would not lock. As well as a piece of the car had broke off. I took my car to Mike's auto body for repairs. When the person inspecting the car had reviewed what was wrong with my 2016 Ford Fusion, I was informed part of the issue was the starter. I was informed by Nick a staff member of Mike's auto body, that the piece was replaced. After I had picked up my car on June 6, 2023 as per the receipt from my payment. The first time the event happened was on around June 6th to June 20th (I know it happened on a rainy Tuesday or Wednesday anywhere from 7am to 8am prior to Thursday June 22nd.) My car flashed "See manual" on my dash board. The air bag light had turned on. My car would not accelerate, the brakes functioned at this point, but when I pulled off the road and parked my car shook. When I had turned my car off, took out the keys, and turned it on again the problem was "resolved" and I was able to continue driving to work. I had called the auto shop and eventually left my car with the auto shop to be safe. The next event happened on Thursday June 22nd at 4:10 pm after I had picked it up from the auto shop when Nick had informed me my car was safe and nothing was reading on the scanner. (I took a picture of the dash board to show the message) and turned my car back into the auto shop. To note, the brakes did not work during this time. The next time it happened was the first time I drove my car again after picking it up from Mike's auto shop. July 1st at 12:47 pm. The same stuff happened. I recorded on video what my car was doing. My car decelerate when my foot was still on the gas, the brakes were not working, hot air out of the ac, car shaking. It happened 10+ times today (7/15/23) after leaving the dealership to fix a recall I have several videos of
Safety Recall 23S12/23v162 recalls with problem with FRONT brake flexible hoses...same problem exists with these hoses on REAR brakes. Notified dealer where I purchased but the service department was not interested in an u reporting

Brakes sometimes get me scared when I drive I feel we r not safe. No and they can-??t fix it because they don-??t have the part for the brakes. The msg was check owner manual something like that which can mean lots different problems in ur vehicle.
Breaks went out while driving with my child in the vehicle, called local Ford dealer and they first tried to say it could be a few reasons other than the recall, but it is the Break line that's leaking, no indication light has came on in my vehicle ford will not accept the vehicle because there is no remedy this has not only put both our lives amongst many others on the road, my car is also financed I'm a single mother who has to be able to go to work SAFELY and I feel that ford is just not being held responsible for the repairs that's due to there fault. This had now put us in an extreme hardship.

Car started getting warning that says service AdvanceTrac. Hill assistance not available. It started around March 15th. The lights of the ABS and 2 others come on and then off. I would come into my car and the floor mat on the driver side would be wet no rain or anything outside. Yesterday, brake fluid light came on and breaks went completely out. I have a recall on my vehicle that I-??m pretty sure relates to this issue. I-??m looking to get repaired
I began receiving a brake line warning that my system was leaking, and needed to be filled. I replaced the brake fluid in my vehicle, and less than two hours later the car said the same warning. I couldn-??t brake without pushing the brake all the way too the floor
The contact owned a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulics), a few months approximately four months after the vehicle was destroyed. The contact stated that while making a right turn at approximately 10 mph, the brake pedal was depressed but the vehicle continued to move forward striking a crosswalk pole. A police report was filed and the vehicle was towed to a lot and then taken to an independent mechanic where it was not able to be repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
I got an email from carfax that there was a recall on my vehicle for brake lines, upon research I confirmed with my VIN & called Ford of Janesville, they told me in March there was no remedy yet, more than a month has passed and there is still no remedy this poses a huge safety risk to drive due to brake fluid leaking out & potentially causing the brakes to not function & cause an accident. Prior to the recall notification my brakes randomly started making a very loud disturbing noise not caused by brake pads/rotors as my vehicle has been inspected by a mechanic employed through the city of Milton. This causes a very serious and dangerous risk to my driving and the driving of others in the event my brakes do not work anymore.
One expects more of a company with your fine reputation and long history. Therefore, I feel sure you will know how to solve my car problem. Since May 9, 2017, I have taken my 2016 Ford Fusion to Ford Dealerships to repair the -??Park Brake Malfunction Light, Service Now!-?? on my car. Whereas, today, it-??s still not fixed. Background On November 17, 2015, I went to purchase an extended warranty, for my 2011 Ford Fusion. However, the Finance Manager at Randall Reed-??s Park Cities Ford gave me the option to buy a new car. Unlike most car customers, I did not have the opportunity to select a vehicle from the car fleet or showroom floor. He, himself selected the new 2016 Ford Fusion vehicle with approximately 18 miles and prepared the paper work for my signature. Facts I have taken my car to the Ford Dealerships 18 times to have the -??Park Brake Malfunction Light-?? fixed. Again, on March 6, 2023, the same problem keeps reoccurring. Every time the Park Brake Malfunction Light comes on there are two more lights from the Brake Systems that appears. After repeated repairs visits, this problem is still on going. As a value Ford customer, I should not have to consistently deal with this car problem on a monthly basis. As of yesterday April 10,2023, the light came back on. Here are the Facts. Below is a listing of the dates of repairs (see attached Invoices) 1. May 9, 2017 2. February 1, 2018 3. March 26, 2018 4. May 10, 2018 5. June 18, 2018 6. September 6, 2018 7. December 17, 2019 8. April 22, 2019 9. May 17, 2019 ( pickup car and returned) 10. August 23, 2019 11. September 16, 2019 12. August 31, 2020 13. September 23, 2020 ( in the shop now) 14. June 10,2021 15. Brake line hose burst causing the brakes to fail while driving. I was not able to stop the car had to pull the emergency brake. This is the third time in two years.
The brake lines ruptured and the pedal went to the floor on the drivers side front wheel. It is in for service right now at Auto ER at 2383 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608.
On 11/18/22, I left the house to pick my son up from school. Several blocks later, I tried to stop at a stop sign and found I had no brakes. The brake pedal pushed all the way to the floor with no resistance and little effect. Prior to this moment, there was no indication of brake troubles. Thankfully, I was not yet in the school zone, which could have been disastrous. I was able to slowly navigate back home, where we checked and filled the brake fluid, which promptly and completely drained on our driveway. Only after this time did the low brake fluid light come on. I had to have my car towed to a mechanic, where they found the right front brake hose was split open and the left front hose was bulging dangerously. Both front hoses were replaced, costing over $400 in parts, labor, and towing.
While driving at a high rate of speed the vehicle-??s brakes completely failed nearly causing a serious crash. The car ended up rolling up and over a median causing damage to the vehicle. Upon inspection the from right brake hose ruptured causing a complete loss of brake fluid and loss of braking ability.
Break hose was recalled by Ford but Ford refused to fix it until it broke. I expressed my concerns about safety and was told by the dealership they hadn-??t seen the hose break yet. While driving my break fluid suddenly went out and my peddle dropped to the floor. I barely missed hitting someone with my car. I called the dealership and was told I-??d have to bring the car in next week. I called cs and expressed concern and was told I could take it to another one even though I was scared to drive it that far. I called the other dealerships and no one answered. Another repair shop got me right in and it was in fact the hose that broke.
The front brake hoses broke. We received a Customer Satisfaction Program notice from Ford the week before this happened. I called the dealer to get information and wanted them to check my car, but they said it was not necessary. The car was driven on a major highway, the brake fluid came out and not even a mile later, the brake fluid light came on, and i could not stop the car. The brake pedal was to the floor! Luckily, and I mean luckily, I was able to turn into a parking lot. The car was towed to the dealer, where they determined the above. The car has been repaired with "newly designed" hoses. Ford was surely aware of the problem, but did not issue a recall. Truly unbelievable!
On September 13, 2022, car was parked and idling. Heard/felt small pop. Pressed brake pedal to put vehicle in gear and pedal felt much softer than usual and was able to press to floor without effort. Noticed that AC air warmed up was well. Eventually noticed smoke wafting up from engine compartment on passenger side. inspected right front tire and saw oily spots on to inner side of wheel rim. popped hood and oily substance all over inside passenger side of engine compartment, particularly on serpentine belt, explaining the warming air from AC. While I could build up brake pedal pressure it never lasted long and pedal would become soft and press to the floor. Carefully drove car to local dealership and was informed about a "Customer Satisfaction Program" for the vehicle allowing for a one-time replacement of the front brake flexible hoses. Vehicle is currently being repaired.
Ford dealer has the part but refuse to repair it for me claiming FORD manufacture hasn-??t issued the official recall letter. It has been 3 months that I am not able to use my car. Please let me know when I can get this recall repaired. Thank you!
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated the brake lights were continuously illuminated. The contact taped the brake button in to stop the warning light from appearing. The contact also stated that the failure caused the battery to drain. There was also a failure while accelerating with the RPM being inoperable while depressing the accelerator pedal down to the floorboard. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 53,000.
