Car stalls and cuts off while vehicle in in operation. I took it to the dealership when it first began to happen, they stated that it was put on the machine and nothing lit up so they couldn't find anything wrong with it. This kept happening, for weeks it would drive normal and then just start cutting off again while I'm driving. I took it back to the dealership and they stated that they found the problem. It cost almost $300 dollars for the repair. We got the car back and three days later it was cutting off again. We took it back to the car dealership and this time they stated it was something different and that the part was covered. After we were told the part was covered the dealership called us back and stated that it was not covered. I googled this particular car and noticed that many people have been having the same issues with the car and also given the run around about not knowing what the problem is. Why isnt the whole car recalled and why haven't this problem been listed under the recall. This is a serious road and safety hazard for the driver of the vehicle as well as others on the road.

Several weeks ago I noticed that the front passenger door was not opening when the inside handle was initially pulled I was able however to try again and it would work. Unfortunately now I am completely unable to open the passenger side door at all from the inside. I have contacted my local dealership in regards to the repair they are advising that it will cost over $400 to have a fully functioning door. This issue is a massive safety issue which has myself and my family concerned in regards to this matter.

I bought my 2014 Ford Fusion SE in 2015. It had around 24,000 millage. After couple day I noticed that tgere is comethibg wrong with transmission. I brought the dealership that I bought from (bright bay Lincoln, bay shaors, NY) and they said that there is nothing wrong with transmission. That peovlem never went away. Problem is getting wors. I went well know tranmission shop in springfield and they said that clutches needs to be changed but they do bot fix Ford Fusion transmission because it is very hard to do it. Over the time I met couple Fusion ovner and all of them complained about their transmission.

Has rattle under passenger floor when fuel tank is 3/4 to full in park or in gear at complete stop or just creeping below 5 mph and have read online about the baffles breaking in the fuel tank causing this issue also read it causes air in fuel line which could be a safety issue while traveling down highway if engine cuts out due to this issue, , also drivers door doesn't always latch 100 % sometimes have to open and close door several times to shut completely and has started doing this since October of 2018 also transmission shifts funny when cold going from park to reverse has very harsh engagement and 3rd shifts very firm when going

I drove to the post office and put my car in park but the car didn't shift into park it made it from drive to neutral and stuck there. The actual gear shift was in the park position but the car itself was in neutral. I pulled my ebrake on so I could exit the car my car wouldn't roll. What happened was the dorman that is on the gear shift under my hood had chipped away, causing the gear shift arm to pop off. I replaced the dorman, and everything has been fine for about a month.. a week ago it popped off again as I attempt to shift gears and has popped off everyday, several times a day, almost every trip I make but this time the small cream piece that helps engage it is there, intact, and not worn at all. This is very frustrating to have to pull my ebrake to park my car, get out and pop the hood and readjust the arm and gear shift and reattach it so that I can get my car into the gear I need it in.

Air conditioning clutch fell off compressor while driving on highway. Bolt fell out allowing clutch to fall off. Could have hit another vehicle on the road. Only didn't because it got caught in the engine splash pan. After searching this is a common problem not only on the Ford fuson, but also on F series trucks, and the Ford mustang.

I put car in park. When I restarted the car I could not move the shifter. Looked at car display and it said 'car not in gear'. the digital read out showed car in park. I had it towed to dealership for repair. They said gear cable was broken. Cost me $585 to repair. Gear on the radio that trucks and SUV being recalled for same issue at no cost. I purchased a new-to-me 2014 Ford Fusion from germain Ford in columbus Ohio on 2/2/18. On the 2nd day I had the car there was a light snow storm, a few inches, I am a wonderful driver with a clean record. I went to pull out of my street and I lost control of the car. I thought it was ice until I stopped at a light & my wheels started spinning and I could hardly maintain control. I felt like the steering wheel was taking over and I was fighting it as I kept sliding. This went on the entire two miles to work. I'd never been more terrified. I've driven in snow and ice for 20 years and this is my 6th Ford and I had never been so afraid of a car. I thought maybe it was a one time issue, maybe it really was just a strange one time thing? but on Sunday 3/25/18 it was raining here in columbus and I was driving about 40-45 mph on a wet road and my car started acting like it did in the snow, but this time I lost total control of the car tc came on and once again I could not control my car and the wheel jerked to the right causing us to spin out of control. The back passenger tire hit a curb, we spun around and the front passenger side hit the curb and we went into a grassy area coming pretty close to a pole and an apartment bldg. I ended up with a flat tire, bent rim, I needed an alignment, the paint is scratched under my car, and I need a new baring on the front drivers side. Also - I found out there was around 5 inches of water in my trunk due to a broken seal. I had the car towed to the dealer & I begged them to figure out what's wrong. Right now they claim nothing is wrong but they are fixing the leak & the damage. I paid for a new tire. I am beyond terrified to drive the car again. I have never lost control of a car before and now I have in this car - twice in less than a month. Something is very very wrong. Thank you for any help or suggestions. I just want a safe car.

My vehicle keep stalling and cutting off mid driving. Its happened on tbe expressway and mid motion on the regular street.after I restart the car, it stalls but start back up. Sometimes it drives perfectly fine, other times it shuts down in the mist of driving, some days the engine light comes on and other times there is no warning lights on. This has been happening off and on for months. Its been hard to get a diagnosis since the engine light comes and go. My back middle seatbelt is stuck. It appears to be locked underneath the seat.

I had leased a 2014 Ford Fusion back in 2014, had every intention in purchasing the vehicle, a couple weeks before my lease was to end I was experiencing electrical/defect issues in September 2016, all my locks, air/heat, windows would shut off as I was driving and it was slowly draining my battery. I made dozens and dozens of phone calls to Ford corporation/customer service asking for help, and informing them the vehicle was not safe to drive (mailed them evidence of my issues). Took it to the dealership at tom holzer Ford, after many attempts made to repair my vehicle they still could not repair my vehicle properly, I spent $400 to repair my vehicle and I was still left with the same issues listed above. When I arrived at the dealership for the third time they tried to change their story and claim I had a new problem to avoid paying to have my vehicle fixed and avoid using the "good will warranty". instead I was left draining my savings to repair my vehicle and miss work since my vehicle was unsafe to drive. I also noticed other customers who had a 2014 Ford Fusion had the same issues as I did, and instead of contacting National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, they went on carcomplaints.com. Please view my attached documents relating to the issues that I had with my 2014 Ford Fusion. If possible I would like a investigation made for a possible recall, and fines and penalties imposed if needed. Lastly, Ford had sold my 2014 Ford Fusion to another buyer, I had no idea if the buyer was disclosed of my issues that I had. On myvehiclehistory.com, it states that "no problems" were reported which is false, since I submitted all my evidence to Ford corporation and nothing was done.

Starting in October 2017, immediately after I updated the sync software in my car, the integration between my iphone and my car stopped working. Previously I could say "hey, siri!" and the car would activate my car's microphone so that the phone could hear my commands. After the update I cannot talk to my phone because the car does not activate its mic and the phone mic is covered by the cradle. When I contacted Ford recently I was told that Ford has removed this feature because "the car has its own voice recognition system" (sync) and that Ford does not support reverting to the previous version of the sync firmware. Clearly Ford wants to "own" the customer buy removing integration with phone voice features. This is a safety issue because I cannot no longer access phone features not supported by sync hands-free. Cars with advanced electronics are already known to be a safety hazard and this makes it worse. This change was done without my knowledge or consent, which is a separate issue, which I will pursue with the ftc.
