The first thing that jumps out is the ridiculous amount of power steering complaints. It grinds, it squeals, and it eventually just fails.

And if losing power steering isn’t enough for you, how about a sudden loss of engine power? That combination is enough to achieve clunker status.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair. The contact received the recall notification in June of 2016. The dealer (mall of Georgia Ford located at 4525 nelson brogdon blvd ne, buford, ga, 30518, ) stated that the parts were unavailable for the repair. The manufacturer was also contacted and made aware of the failure and confirmed that the parts were unavailable for repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Consumer stated unable to have passengers in right seat. Updated 8/2/18

Takata recall we all know of this recall and I received my first recall notice over 1 year ago. Every time I call Ford I am told the same thing... "we have not released parts yet.. will call when we do". in the mean time I have my family driving around in a very unsafe car. What can we do as consumers? this is ridiculous! they are obviously just trying to see if we will forget about it. What is your role (NHTSA) in forcing them to either give me the parts or take the car back?? I need a resolution.. my family is not safe in this!

We received the recall notice in the mail for my car when Ford first went public with the recall notice.vi went to dealership and was told that there were no replacements available and there would probably never be a replacement available. But they did say they were putting us on a list to be repaired if the airbags ever became available. Of course I'm still driving around in this deathtrap of a car with no replacement insight.

Takata recall. Ford has notified me about the issue through their recall report system for this car model, however, still no repairing or solution to this recall has been provided since this recall has been reported (June 2016 - status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available). My car is running fine now, but at this point and with this airbag recall pending, I'm not sure how safe is driving it.

"takata recall" I had received a recall a long time back. I immediately contacted the dealership who to, D me they did not have the parts to replace the defective airbag. I have contacted the dealer at least five times to inquire and I was told that they still have no replacement available. I asked them what I was suppose to do in the meantime and I was told be careful and do T get in an accident. I asked about a rental in the meantime and was told they are not able to give a rental as it would not be covered as part of a warranty that could not be fixed for some time. I am becoming frustrated and worry about getting into an accident. Not happy that my safety is at risk!

Have been waiting for a passenger air bag since receiving a recall notice and also contacted Ford Motor Company and was told the older vehicles were serviced first. How old does my car have to be as it is a 2011 and we are in 2017? my dealer was also contacted: Galpin Ford www.galpinford.com 15505 roscoe blvd, North hills, ca 91343. They can't do anything unless they receive the part. Further, I have had over 6 recalls on this vehicle since owning this car, yet I cannot sue because I did not purchase this car in California, to which I am a registered voter. I lived in New Jersey when the purchase was made. Please help, thank you.
