The first thing that jumps out is the ridiculous amount of power steering complaints. It grinds, it squeals, and it eventually just fails.

And if losing power steering isn’t enough for you, how about a sudden loss of engine power? That combination is enough to achieve clunker status.

Takata airbag. Received letter from Ford July 2016 concerning passage side airbag. Web site say car safe to drive, no mention of any action I need to take. Received letter December 2017, with warning that no one should occupy passenger side front seat car still not fixed. Ford put my wife at risk for 18months, the car did not get suddenly more dangerious this is unacceptable Ford Motor Co. Should be made accountable.

Takata recall: Still waiting 2 years later for airbag to be replaced. All the while noone is supposed to ride in the passenger seat? Ford should be held responsible and they should be reimbursing us for time and inconvenience. Ford needs to be pushed into taking action against takata and hopefully reach a settlement offer for customers.

"takata recall", 2-1/2 years ago received recall notice; received 2 more since yet Ford not able to install repair yet. Ford says "don't ride in front passenger seat". how long is my family to be kept out of car. Be realistic. Ford needs to make repair now now now! what kind of oversight are you maintaining? 2-1/2 years !!!!

My car has been under a safety recall for 2 years and the front seat is unusable. Ford has no idea when they will fix this. What do I do" drive around in a dangerous car" do you force Ford at some point to buy the cars back or give us money to compensate - I am at a loss as to what I am supposed to do and what NHTSA does in this case. Ford essentially is doing nothing.

Takata recall & steering failure I have a 2011 Ford Fusion on which the steering suddenly failed, without any warning, while driving. Thankfully the failure occurred close to our home and my wife was able to make it home without incident. I've been doing research online and learned that this is a common problem. While Ford has issued a recall for some later models, they are not covering all viechles with the same part. I am contacting you to raise awareness that the problem still exists and is still impacting people. I have owned many cars that are much older and have never had a complete steering loss. I also want to let you know that we are still waiting for resolution of the takata airbag recall. The recall was issued by Ford in July of 2016. We have continued to drive the car with the promise by Ford that the car is safe, however, as I continue to read about incidents online, realize that may not be the case. After all, if it were safe there wouldn't have been a recall. My wife has gotten to the point where she doesn't want to drive the car for concerns for her safety. I feel this is unacceptable and am asking for your help to hold Ford accountable to: 1.accept responsibility for the steering issue and the risk it posses and extend the racall to all affected viechles 2.expedite the repair on the airbag recall thank you!
