CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Fusion builds off the 2010's reputation. That's not a good thing.
The first thing that jumps out is the ridiculous amount of power steering complaints. It grinds, it squeals, and it eventually just fails.
And if losing power steering isn’t enough for you, how about a sudden loss of engine power? That combination is enough to achieve clunker status.

- To Open Door Trick - i have the same problem. i have figured out if you pull the lock lever it will open the door from the inside. the handle and the lock lever move together when the door is being opened. so i have been unlocking the door and using the lock lever rather than the door handle. it beats unrolling the window. hope it works for you.

Can't open driver's door without opening window first. What happens when there is an emergency (crash) and you need to get out, but maybe now the window won't work????? A really cheap piece of crap part that is supposed to do a very significant job!!
