Electronic power steering assist failure faulty engineering and failure to acknowledge the problem as a manufacturer for all models affected not just certain vins the car is one of the vins not recalled for the issue but has the stated issue like the other vehicles recalled, fully grown healthy man cant even move the steering wheel.fird says it is not under recall the entire power steering rack has been replaced and still has no power steering

I took my car to sheehy Ford of marlow heights for the airbag recall repair. Upon picking the car up after it was "fixed", there are now 3 lights on my dash that were not previously there. These lights are the airbag light, the stability control light, and the service wrench. The dealership will not cooperate as far as fixing this.

I was driving on hwy 23 when all of sudden the dash light came on saying default trac service soon. Then my steering went out && it was like I had no power steering. About 2 weeks prior I had to have tyson rod ends put on inside & out after just having them replaced in April. My airbag light comes on saying passenger airbag. When I started up the car & was going to pull out the light for passenger air bag came on, then I turn my wheel & there is like a grinding sound. I pulled on side of road & had someone come check it. They said same thing I did. I thought it was something rubbing against the tire, but when we looked there was nothing. Then he kept turning the wheel & it sounded more in the steering column. My husband checked underneath the car when I got home & thank goodness he did because the tie rod ends inside & out were so bad that I was lucky to have not of crashed. Still the steering is making that loud grinding, screeching sound. Air bag & trac lights come on occasionally still also. Really feel unsafe driving my car here the last few months. Ive had it parked for the last month & bought just something to get around for now til I can afford to have it fixed or they have a recall on these. I don't own this car but I was seriously thinking about acquiring this car till when I looked up the VIN and it had an old open recall on the airbags that the car company selling it should atleast tell you there is. I realize facebook may not be the best online service to use to buy a vehicle but the dealership should have at the least mentioned the recall and what they should have already done was have it taken in an fixed for the safety of its client its crazy. Please get ahold of the dealership who owns this car and tell them to get the recall taken care off thank you. There are cars that have this recalls that should be taken care of as soon as the obtained them. I've noticed that facebooka car marketplace has alot of cars for sale with open recalls some a couple months old and some over 10 years old please look into this dealership on facebook trying to sell cars with recalls on them an young kid or older lady may not even think about looking up the vins to see if there is an open recall buy the car and then possible die or get severely hurt because these dealerships didn't take car of all recalls that open on car on there lot. I would never ever sell someone a car with an open recall even if it was very minor, so how can these dealerships go unchecked selling open recall cars, here's the VIN [xxx] please for god sake make it to where nobody can sell a car on any website without getting it fixed or explaining there is one and offer to get it fixed before they buy or if they buy get it towed to get the recall fixed. We have received several re-call notices for the takata airbag issue in our 2010 Ford Fusion over the last several years. We have spoken with our local Ford dealership several times also, but our vehicle still has not been serviced. We also just received a letter from the Florida highway safety and motor vehicles and usdot stating that "according to records from Ford, you have not yet responded to this safety recall to have the necessary free recall repairs made." This is not true, as we stated above. We live in Florida which, according to this website, is in zone a, and since our vehicle is a 2010 model, we believe that we should have been high on the priority list for this re-call fix. Takata inflators: My vehicle was not driven for 6 months as part of the recall. Well for one Ford was supppse to have done transmission work on my car two years ago N now my car is doing the same thing. For example it started with when 8N park it rocks back and foward more the a inch in either direction.
