Takata recall; I have been trying since June 2016 to get my granddaughters car 's airbags replaced. The car has been recalled and we continue to receive notices. I recently received the legal notice from tk holdings co, Inc. To contact your entity to try to resolve this important safety issue. We would be devastated if something happened to my granddaughter while in her car due to faulty airbags. Our car dealer, dupratt Ford in dixon, ca. Says they still do not have the parts to replace the airbags with. Please help me get this resolved. She commutes to school and bag 15 miles everyday. Thank you.
"takat recall" I received a noticed from Ford date July, 2016 regarding an important safety recall for my frontal passenger airbag inflator. I called to see when I could bring my vehicle in and I was told that they will send out a notification when the parts were available. A few months went by and I called again and was told the same story, parts were still not in and I would be notified. My most recent call was on 10/31/17, to complain that they still have me driving in a death trap with my children on a daily basis and the woman I spoke with said that the parts were on backorder and they were not sure when they would be available. She also informed me that not only is my passenger side a recall but also, my driver airbag is faulty as well!!! I'm don't know what to do at this point because obviously Ford does not care about their customers and I try not to drive my car too often due to the fact that it is a death trap at this point. I just want to know what I can do at this point to get the situation rectified?

Takata recall. So the recall was January 2017, 11 months ago. Takata filed chapter 11 in us and bankruptcy in Japan. So for 11 months and counting I am still driving a Ford with a pontential killer airbag. The dealers keep saying it will be another month and yet no end is in site. How can Ford continue to ignore the safety of tens of thousands of us citizens driving thier cars under an active recall for over 11 months and not have a solution and fix in place? they have not adressed this in a timely manner by any streatch of the imagination and continue to leave people at risk. If they have no fix in place by December 31, 2017 then force Ford to by back all the defective cars thay have placed on the road.

Takata recall: I've received 2 letters from Ford over the last year and a half saying there is a recall for my airbags. I've called my local dealership and they have no supplies yet for putting new airbags in. They told me to contact Ford, but then I received a settlement notice for tekata airbags. I concluded that these are the airbags in my car. I went to the website www.airbagrecall.com to get my new airbags, but all it gave me was the phone number to the dealership, which I've already called and they don't have any. I want this resolved and I'm getting the run around.
Takata recall - I called my local Ford dealer (vancouver Ford, vancouver Washington) to arrange to have my airbags recalled. They said that they can't do it at this time, as they don't have any air bags for the replacements, but that they would be in contact with me. They gave me no idea of timeline, etc.
