Listed date as the date I caught issue on camera, but this has happened multiple times before and since. Numerous issues w/ infotainment system on 2022 F150 Powerboost Platinum. Backup cameras will load normally when put into reverse, but "freeze" once the vehicle starts moving. Still displays last image, however it's not updating nor does any of the sensors work at this point. Vehicle still drives/shifts normally, but no alerts or warnings indicate problem. It's easy enough to realize (at some point) that the screen is frozen, however there are numerous safety hazards that this presents. One Example: Imagine backing out of a tight spot in a parking lot. Your camera loads normally and you start backing up, watching your camera/sensors. It freezes, in the 3-4 seconds it takes for you to realize that you're no longer watching a live feed, a child runs behind your vehicle, Not good. Again, the backup sensors do not work at this point. Additionally the screen will stay frozen in this manner for some time, restarting the vehicle does nothing. At some point the entire system will crash and both the dash and center screen go black though the vehicle continues to operate though you no longer have speedometer or other dashboard indications as they are all digital. In this incident I captured the frozen screen on video, and after restarting the vehicle multiple times, I began to drive home. Shortly after getting onto the freeway, both screens went blank and audio issues began, I had to pull off of the freeway, turn the truck off and wait about 10 minutes for it to boot back up and begin to work normally. Ford service could not find any problems or reproduce issue. It has happened maybe 5 or 6 times so far in the year I've owned the truck. Overview: Intermittent issue with audio system in vehicle making/playing EXTREMELY LOUD popping noise out of speakers randomly and with no warning. Sounds like someone is setting off explosions or a firearm inside the cabin, playing from all(?) or most of the speakers. Happens randomly and intermittently with no determinant cause. Might be driving, parked, etc.. sometimes it will be a month or so before it happens again, sometimes 2x a day. Cannot stress how loud it is when it does happen, hearing damage levels. Happened again today (7/31/23) while parked (truck running) with my 11mo son sleeping in the back (was just sitting in the parking lot waiting for him to wake up before heading into the store). He was absolutely terrified. Ford dealership service has looked into it before, but since we can't replicate the issue on command there doesn't seem to be much they can do. There are many reports online of other folks having the same issue. Safety: Aside from the loudness of the issue, this is a major safety hazard. The audio issue is so loud and unexpected that if it happened at the wrong time It could easily cause an accident. One doesn't expect to suddenly hear cannons going off when merging into traffic on the freeway, and it could result in erratic maneuvers as one makes a panic response to what sounds like gunfire. Problem has been unable to be replicated (in my case) at the dealer. Vehicle has been inspected/evaluated multiple times. No warning lamps/indicators/messages correspond to this, other than random and recurring issues with the infotainment system and other problems that seem ongoing.
Sync 4 Screen will go blank while driving loosing rear camera 360 camera, all information. When starting sometimes the camera freezes makes you think a car behind you stopped when it is moving. Also, sometimes when you put on reverse. Nothing no screen, camera
Started vehicle and a horrific static popping sound started coming thru the speakers. It lasted about 10 seconds and I immediately turned vehicle off as I thought it was going to explode or burn. I restarted it again and it made the same sound again for about 5 seconds and it then stopped. 3rd time I started the truck it did not make the noise. When making the noise I couldn-??t adjust the volume on radio or make a phone call
Unintended acceleration / rolling may occur when vehicle is remote started through Fordpass mobile application. The 1 pedal-drive vehicle setting is NOT preserved when using remote start. Vehicle may roll down hill upon entry. Default driver profile has 1 pedal drive OFF while all device profiles linked to Fordpass and Phone-as-a-Key have 1 pedal drive ON. Fordpass mobile app remote start needs to preserve 1 pedal drive setting due to potential unintended acceleration when on flat surfaces or unintended reverse acceleration rolling down hills.

Upon entering the Ford f150 vehicle and turning it on there was loud sonic boom noise through the speakers and then ear piercing static. It could not be turned down by the radio controls. Radio was turned off but static still wouldn-??t stop. Vehicle was turned off and static still was still going. I waited 15 minutes with the vehicle off and it finally quit. Truck started no problem and static gone. I have read of numerous reports about this same thing with the B&O Unleashed radio system which I have. I have suffered some hearing loss and ringing in my ears even after 2 days. If this had happened on the highway or in traffic it would probably have caused a wreck.
I have had two instances where a loud pop occurs when playing the stereo, and then an even louder static noise begins. The static noise does not stop. The first time, I took the truck to the dealership and they had to disconnect the battery. Approximately 3 months later, the same issue occurred, but now it was accompanied by a burning smell. After the first incident, the dealer repaired (not replaced) the module. But, again, the static noise returned two months later. I now have constant ringing in both ears, which may indicate permanent hearing loss.
My radio/stereo/speakers introduced an extremely loud "pop" noise, or "banging" noise. It was reminiscent to my time overseas in the military and gunfire. It was extremely startling and hurtful to all three passengers in my vehicle, including myself, my spouse, and my 2-year-old child. This is a recurring issue as of now, and many others are complaining about the same issue happening to them.
while driving, with the audio system off, suddenly I heard a loud explosion. next I heard what sounded like class breaking. I thought i was involved in an accident and slammed on my brakes. Realizing I was ok, the next thought that came to mind was that someone shot at me. The crackling sounds ( like glass breaking did not stop). i drive directly to a ford dealership. they heard and acknowledged the cracking sound. i turned off the truck and the sound CONTINUED.
Loud pop and then extremely loud static coming through all speakers, pulled over turned truck off and noise continued. Unable to drive because noise was so loud. Started truck again and turned off multiple times, turned radio on and off multiple times and noise continued. With truck off doors closed and locked noise continued. After about 15 min it stopped and worked normal. I called dealer and they said they don-??t have a fix and if it is currently working normal there-??s nothing they can do.
On 2 seperate occasions the audio system has malfunctioned. The truck has the B and O "Unleashed" sound system. The first time was December 2022. I started the vehicle and the sound system blasted at full volume and scared the heck out of me. The system would not respond in any way, blank display on the dash. The second time was May 2023. I started the truck and there was a loud "explosion" sound and the display was again totally blank and not responding. Drove to the dealership and was told they had no idea what was wrong. Very dangerous situation that is not safe. Truck has had 2 recalls and only has less than 2000 miles. Purchased new at Harold Ford 6/29/22. Assembled at Dearborn Truck. Currently waiting on axle parts at dealership. LEMON would be being kind.
Started vehicle and plugged phone im to play music/charge. Immediately, there was an incredible loud sound: it sounded almost like a gun shot. There was then a loud crackling sound which sounded like glass shattering. It scared me considerably. Thankfully I was parked. I shut the vehicle off and restarted. There was no more noise, but all audio ceased to work. Approximately 3 hours later, the problem went away when I went back put to start the vehicle. If this were to happen while traveling, especially in traffic, it could case a dangerous situation.

Dates/Mileage: 1st: 12/12/22 at 13465 miles. 2nd: 05/25/23 at 21842 miles (still pending repair). Opened door to truck, sat down, hit the start button and immediately following was a extremely loud popping noise followed by loud static. This is a hazard to adults driving and little ones with developing ear drums. Dealers refuse to see it when it happens, so when needing to make an appointment they can not duplicate it. No warning lamps or messages came on. There have been many complaints about this from other customers as well. Please address this matter.
Brakes completely failed without warning or any indication that something was wrong. Lost brakes completely, and dash lit up saying ABS Fault, service advanced traction, hill start assist unavailable, pre Collison assist not available. Luckily i was able to slow down by downshifting in M and throwing it into park before it even came to a stop. Had it towed to dealer and repaired. Dealer failed to give me documentation of what was replaced and/or repaired. Luckily I just exited the highway. I could have been seriously hurt or killed. As well as someone else could obviously had been killed or hurt. I live in Colorado and 75% of my driving is down steep mountain grades. This could have ended catastrophically.
While turning on my car, there was an extremely loud pop and deafening noise "exploding" in the truck cabin. If I had been driving at the time, the sudden and extreme noise would have caused me to react in a way to lose control of the vehicle. The noise was easy over 120db. It is been two hours since it happened and my ears are still hurting. I had to remove the radio fuse for this to stop. There were not warning lamps or messages when this happened.
Extremely loud popping and screeching sound coming from speaker. So loud it made me pull over and exit truck. This is the third time this has occurred.
Stereo has extremely loud pop and static noise. Almost blew my water drums, including wife and kids. This is a known issue and Ford is not doing anything about it. Happened 3 times now / easily cause an accident when driving not mention blowing ear drums. I had to go to doctor to get checked out. Ears still ringing and having hard time hearing.
Extremely loud pop/bang from the speakers out of the blue. Very startling as I thought I had hit something or had something catastrophically fail. Fortunately was on an empty street because the sound was so bad I slammed on the brakes.
