I have a 2019 Ford F150 with a 5.0 liter motor with approx 42k miles. I maintain my vehicles and I check my oil in between oil changes. It is always low and I do not have any oils leaks. I discussed it with the service advisor at Bo Beukman Ford and the service advisor told me it is normal for oil consumption in between oil changes"??? Maybe on a 10 year old truck, but not a 2-3 year old truck! I recently googled this issue and found TSB 19-2365 and I discussed it with my service advisor and they told me I could bring it in and they would check it, but TSB would be at my cost! Seriously? After my last oil change, I took pics of the dipstick a couple days after the service was completed that I can send you. What if people think the oil is low and add 2-3 quarts to bring it up, all because their engineers designed it with a short dipstick" That is ridiculous. This should be a recall.

Driving back from, San Antonio, Tx., to Millsap, Tx., in my 2019 Ford F-150 truck, I experienced down shifting and up shifting hard. It was making driving very difficult and dangerous. My Ford App alerted me that there was a Powertrain Malfunction. The little wrench light came on the dash indicating Powertrain problems. I was very concerned for my safety. I have turned it into, Southwest Ford, in, Hudson Oaks, Texas. I was not told that this was an issue with this year model, nor have I received anything in the mail about it. The Ford Dealership above was where I bought the truck and all the oil changes, ect., have been done. I have researched this problem and have come across a class action lawsuit that describes what happened with my truck. Ford has not notified me to this problem. What else should I do to resolve this?

This vehicle has a 2.7 eco boost engine that is junk. It has been at Summit Ford from March 8, 2022 and is still there as of 6-17-2022. The vehicle has had to be taken back 2 times within this time frame. The motor looses compression on cylinder 5 which we have dumped $781.43 out of pocket and extended warranty has paid $1028. The last time I picked it up from the dealership I got 20 miles and it loss compression. I turned back and took it to the dealership. I told them it did the same thing. Since returning it we now find out it loss compression in cylinder 5 and now needs a new motor. The vehicle has 78168 miles, all highway miles. Ford has agreed to pay $5,000 towards engine and remaining balance is owed by us. Ford has issues with this 2.7. A 2016 f150 has been in the shop several times, mine has also and the ford broncos coming out of production doesn-??t even make it 1000 miles and looses compression. In order to get my vehicle to drive and get the wrench light to come off, we would have to pull over, turn vehicle off, turn it back on and continue driving until the next time it loss compression. This is a safety hazard as you loose compression it could cause the vehicles behind you to hit you or if you needed to pull off to the side of the road, loosing compression could cause you to get hit causing accidents trying to pull over.

I was making a left turn onto a busy highway on March 29th, and my truck shut off. A message appeared on the screen that said Auto start/stop shift to P, then restart engine. A battery and wrench symbol appeared. I almost was t-boned as a result of the malfunction.\ I bought the vehicle at Causeway Ford in Manahawkin with 62,000 miles and have only had it for a month. I took vehicle there for repair on March 30th. The dealership claimed they performed a hard reset and was able to correct the issue. I had the vehicle for 12 days since, and the issue reoccured almost causing another accident. I am furious.

UNKOWN My truck will lose power when hitting the gas. The rpms' rev up and then after a second it kicks back in. The 10 speed transmission continues to be very jerky and unsmooth. I asked the dealer and was told that's the number 1 complaint but there's nothing they can do about. The loss of power while pushing the gas to go is the biggest safety concern for me.

My truck rough idles and shakes violently and then stalls and an error comes up in the dash telling me -??auto startstop shift to P then restart engine-?? Has happened numerous times. Truck currently has 44, xxx miles. This is extremely dangerous at any light, turning intersection, or stop sign. I have read many online threads through online forums of this happening in other f150s to no avail from owners and dealers alike.

Recent oil analysis(mid October 2021) indicates a greater than 5% fuel dilution. The Cummins ASTM method of testing only permits a greater than 5% statement so fuel dilution could be much higher. First sample a year ago indicated 3% dilution. Many factors could contribute to this per research and I had advised Ford dealer with printed reports and they would not do anything at all about this stating it is standard. Oil report indicates a "severe" issue. Ford dealer wouldn't even look into possible causes to rule out. I have concern for a possible engine compartment fire/explosion might happen or possible degradation of engine leading to other possible incidents. Reports and vehicle are available. No indicator lamps or other means to know of this issue without independent testing of oil samples. Fuel mileage is averaging 17MPG.

Cam phasers - after the Ford dealership applied recall 21B10, the engine will shut off at undesirable times, causing a stall and making driving unsafe. This is in addition to serious knocking at engine start, and additional shudder during normal driving conditions and while idling. This recall repair has made things much worse and should be avoided.

seat back with an improperly assembled recliner mechanism not adequately restrain The recliner mechanisms may be missing the third pawl required for seat back strength, resulting in a loose seat Transmission shifts extremely hard. It clunks most of the time when I turn the vehicle on. Often, when I shift from park to drive the trunk lurches forward even with my foot pressed down all the way on the break. It's in the ford dealer right now and all they can find is low transmission fluid. Although I've never had a warning light or anything on before. dropping from 10th gear to 5th gear when cruise is set and accelerator is pressed Truck will set advanced traction control warning off and slam so hard into 5th gear you are destructed looking to see if you were in a accident.. I have videos that were provided to Ford Motor Company and have had in 2 Ford dealership s 3 times for repairs.Ford Motor Company has 2 engineer cases opened on truck the second case they told dealership it was my fault with the abrupt shifting slamming and traction control warning at 72 mph on interstate. Ford refuses to address the safety issue. It is a hazard to me and passengers in my vehicle as well as the motoring public. Ford motor company has been notified they can assume liability if I am in a accident and someone is injured due to their negligence or refusal to fix defect. Truck has had issues since around 3500 on the odometer it now has 16,567 miles currently. This as well as any other erratic shifting complaints with said 10R180 should be fully investigated and taken seriously because it will and I am sure has contributed to crashes!!!! The vehicle has the technology package which allows you to start /stop the vehicle with an app in your phone. I assume the motor has bluetooth attached to it. The problem is that when your driving the vehicle will just shut down. Once this happens you have to stop the vehicle, put it in park, and restart the engine.
