Regulator number two. Ford denies that the part is not suitable for its intended purpose, but did offer to schedule an appointment with the dealer so I could pay them to fix it...
The attached photo shows that such a tiny plastic piece will not withstand the forces occurring in a window regulator. The question is, how did this design ever get past qualification testing? Ford's design engineers should be embarrassed to have made such a poor part.
After making power windows for probably 50 years, why can't they do it right yet? Own up, Ford, and fix my truck with better parts.
