I came home from work and parked my 95 Ford F-150 XLT super cab truck at 5:45 P.M. Friday evening. I didn;T drive my truck the rest of the weekend I was awakened Sunday morning at around 9:00 a.M.by the postal worker dropping off mail for the next day. My entire truck was burnt by electrical short as by described by fire mashall.
Thirty minutes after coming home from work, passer-by knocked on my door to tell me my Ford F-150 4X4 XLT truck was on fire. I grabbed my fire extinguisher but I was to late. The vehicle was fully involved. I called the fire department and they responed and eventually put the fire out. The truck was a total lose and I had no insurance on it. No cause was ever found.
We have spent over $5000, on the truck surging. Now because of it we now have to have a new rear-end and new lifts put in. We have had to have new plug wires every year. This truck is taken care of oil changed every 3000 miles and looks brand new. We are on a limit income and can not afford to buy a new truck and would like something done about this, we like the truck except having to put it in for repairs every spring for the same thing.
