When I accelerate and step on the gas, fumes enter the cabin and it is quite a smell. I took it back on the recall - they said they fixed, but no they did not. After the Ford fix we still had the same situation. A couple of months later I backed into my garage door denting my rear tailgate door. Insurance paid for repair. A brand new rear tailgate door was put on. When driving after that we still had odor in the cabin of the car. My insurance paid for this repair because of the accident. Ford said they fixed it???
Well, after a short period of time, the odor was back again. We still have this odor in the cabin from time to time as I step on the gas pedal to accelerate. It's a bunch of bull - they can't fix it. I've lived with this since 2016 and it's a pain in the butt. Ford says they fix it but they do not. I spent a lot of money for this vehicle when purchased. This car's MSRP back then was $39,460.00. Thank you for hearing me out.
