Consumer could hear a noise on left front Firestone Wilderness AT tire P255/70R16, technician found tread separation and offered 4 new tires at 50% charge, however consumer had them replaced elsewhere with a different brand, dot# W2cu1px398.
Consumer heard noise from the left front tire, vehicle was taken to dealer and mechanic found tread separation, Firestone offered discount, however consumer replaced tires with a different brand, tire size P255/70R16, dot W2cu1px398.
A chunk of tread came off the tire exposing the steel cords on the front right wheel, consumer immediately replaced all four tires (Firestone P235/75R15), consumer requested reimbursement but was denied because the tires were purchased from a competitor prior to Apr 9, 2000. Nlm
Vehicle puchased 10/27/99, after vehicle was taken to another dealership to check a noise, owner was informed that all four tires were included in recall 00T-005, tires have been replaced.

Consumers Firestone tire failed 5 months prior to recall 00T-005 causing the vehicle to rollover 5-6 time, consumer sustained separated shoulder and left hip hematoma. Nlm
The Firestone tires on this vehicle are included in recall 00T-005, however the consumer is still on a waiting list for replacement tires, one of the tires cracked and was replaced with the spare tire.

While driving, consumer heard a popping noise, she pulled vehicle over and found the right rear tire had experienced tread separation, which also caused damage to the vehicle, consumer feels Firestone should be responsible for the tires and damages to vehicle.

While driving, started to slow down to exit and right rear tire blewout. Vehicle started to vibrate. Pulled over and stopped to check tires, right rear tire had lost part ofit's sidewall and tread had separated. Replaced tire with a spare. Still has original tire. Firestone, wilderness ht, P225/70R15 with 22,000 miles.
Consumer had recalled Firestone wilderness tires replaced, consumer unhappy because they had to purchase a more expensive tire because they were they only ones left in stock, however the dealer only had three tire and the consumer had to drive 40 miles to pick up two additional tires from another location, consumer spend $214. Out of pocket for replacement tires and wants to be reimbursed. Nlm
