I received a letter from Bridgestone Firestone in September 2006 and replied that I had paid downtown Firestone in muskegon, Michigan roughly $300 in 2003 to replace four of my tires but the spare was not changed. I have since E-mailed twice during the past two months and have not received a response.
: the contact stated the P23575R15 cooper discovery atr tires were losing air. This occurred in all four tires. The tires had been checked for holes and cracks and none were found. The tires must be filled 3 to 4 times per week. The tires were kept at 35 pounds.
Bought vehicle from my parents. Tires were new tires due to Ford/Firestone recall. A second tire is now exhibiting a belt shift condition. Symptom is a speed related tire noise similar to a flat spot on the tire but no vibration or bump is felt. First replacement performed free of charge by dealer. Second failure to be looked at by Goodyear retailer due to distance to Ford dealer. Goodyear retailer has advised of a prorated charge due to wear on tires.

Ford won't reimburse me for having my tires replaced because I had it done 29 days before they started their start date. Even though I felt our lives were in danger driving on those tires. (tiresize: 255/16)

Repeated failures of Firestone tires over 3 years. Reported to friestone w/ no action. This was about 2 weeks prior to the first major recall/safety announcement. Refused to warranty and claimed to have a new computer system that hd wiped out all info prior to Jan 2000. Will F/U with letter to you. My apologies for the late report. Thought I had mailed the letter previously. Currently have spare tire Firestone and will report to local Ford dealer. (tiresize: Standard)( dot number: Tire size: Standard )
My three other tires were also separating and were replaced. I am still waiting for Firestone to pay me for my medical and eight months loss time from work and vehicle rental. They had reimbursed me approximately $2,700 only for damage to my Explorer. The tires they had replaced I believe now has a recall according to the new reports of 5-21-01. If you can give me some assistance it would be greatly appreciated. (dot number: W2hl1pm135 tiresize: P235/75R15)

Three of four Wilderness AT tires were originals. All original tires found to have a visible separation between the tread and belt around the entire circumference of the tire. Tires had normal wear with plenty of good tread left; although, the tires are five years old and have 67,000 miles on them. (dot number: Vncu1pl165 tiresize: P255/70R16)
While driving the front right tire blew, front side of vehicle came down so hard, crushed chrome rim and bent frame (tire make not provided, tire size P25570R16).
On February 19, 2000, ed carney Ford refused to exchange my recalled Firestone tires because they were not currently mounted on my vehicle and I had other tires on the car... this despite presenting the recalled tires at their dealership that day. The Ford Motor Company has since confirmed to me that the dealership acted improperly, and that tires affected by the recall are to be exchanged whether they are currently mounted or not. I believe this is a serious breech of ed carney's responsiblities in this recall, warranting this complaint, and I hope that the NHTSA will take active steps to ensure that they do not try to scam other customers this way in the future.
