Consumer was having a problem with Continental tire manufacturer. They won't pay or replace Continental grabber tires size # P275/60R17. Dot adto44T489. The consumer has replaced the tires twice.
Consumer received reimbursement letter for Continental tires voluntary recall program. However was declined because the tires were purchased outside the dates of purchase. Consumer had proof which stated the tires were purchased within qualified dates and requested assistance for reimbursement.
There was irregular tire wear on the Continental tires. The dealer stated that the date of purchase had fell outside of the weeks of range given in the recall notice. Scc
Both front tires failed at the same time, while driving on the highway. The manufacturer denied reimbursement, because the receipts fell out of date. The consumer requested to be compensated for the replacement of the tires at 10K miles. Scc
Consumer sent in reimbursement form on Continental grabber aw size P27560R17 dot:adt044U109. He call to verify the status of reimbursement and manufacturer told that they don't have his name on file.
Consumer received a recall letter on tires from Continental, stating to contact a Ford dealer and have recall performed. Consumer called dealer and dealer stated tire were not available and that consumer would need to contact Continental. Consumer feels unsafe driving on defected tires. Consumer has been told tire were in several times, and after driving to dealer being told the tires still are not in. In reference to the recall on the Continental/General Grabber aw tire size P275/60R17 on my 2000 Ford Expedition. I followed the instructions per Continental tire for reimbursement of tires I had already replaced, now they refuse to do so. Unfortunately I feel this could be resolved if someone would just listen, but that does not seem to happen when I contacted them.
No parts available. Recall on Continental grabber tire. Size#275/60R17 please provide the dot#. leadership Ford 214-361-8100 please provide the address of the dealer.
Consumer states while driving at 55mph the rear driver side tire blewout consumer had to pull off the road. (original equipment Continental General Grabber P275/60R17 dot adt044T300) this tire has been recall manufacturer sent a recall letter to the consumer. Dealer was out of stock for the next six months, after the incident dealer doesn't want to do anything.
The consumer received recall notice on the general tire failures and replaced all four tires. The consumer was seeking reimbursement for the cost of replacing the tires. Dot # adto44T2100.
