Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing abnormal coolant consumption. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the engine block was fractured and there was coolant intrusion in the engine, and the coolant was burning in the exhaust. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
