CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Ford Edge has a trend of the engine dying while driving, which is typically considered a safety issue.

Owners report the stalling while driving problem is caused by the throttle body needing replacement. The problem typically occurs at low mileage & so the issue has been covered under warranty -- although by now, the 2015 Edge is generally past the full warranty period.

Ford edge as far as I-??m aware, have many complaints with a cracked rear taillight which builds up with water and condensation. My 2015 Ford Edge SEL has had this problem. I was told by an auto body repair shop many customers encounter this problem, it is a manufacturer defect and ford won-??t hold responsibility and announce this as a recall.

I-??m not a car expert. However, this suv has been rusting for some time in (1) one spot. Why? Because there seems to be a manufacture defect in or on the door body structure. I am concerned that the rust my be effecting my safety when driving and May fall off eventually. Causing injury. I can not get an explanation from FORD as the why this is happening! Other than it must be a manufacturer issue/defect etc.

The Panoramic Vista Glass Sunroof on my 2015 Ford Edge shows many cracks along the front edge of the glass for no apparent reasons. This was discovered recently on a calm cloudy day. I've attached some pictures at different angles. This roof has the potential to explode if going on a high speed. I'm surprise to discovered that their is no recall issue for this model, but on other Ford Models with Panoramic Glass Sunroof. Please investigate and add this Make/Model to Ford Panoramic Vista Glass Sunfoof Recall List. No vehicle should have a roof top crack for no apparent reason. I'm afraid to even open the soft divider separating the car riders from the glass sunroof.

The car has multiple rust locations on the car and peeling at an alarming rate. Vehicle is available for inspection. In reviewing the origin report; it appears the car was built from scrape and unknown to purchaser. Door may fall off! Inspected by Liberty Ford. Sold at well above lot price. No recall yet. Door may fall off etc.

The front passenger side of the car started to show bubbling/ peeling paint several months ago. Made several contacts with dealership to see if they could tell me why! no help or assistance from them to find out if my car was damaged and/or repaired prior to my purchase. No response or answer from them. In talking with a Ford body repair person; he seems to feel the car door was repaired and/or partially repaired. And now rusting again! however, I have also been told that several other Ford have had rusting issued for sometime now!! possibly a recall issue! I would like an answer from Ford on why this happening to Ford cars. And, mine especially!!! something is not right in Dodge when everyone at the original dealership did not respond. *this is not an accident issue. It's about a quality of car rusting away!

While driving this vehicle, the rear window shattered. I pulled over to check the damage and concluded nothing hit the window to cause this damage. While investigating (online reports and speaking with repair specialists) the cause of this damage may be related to the heating strips (for defrosting) in the window.

The panoramic sunroof cracked towards the front with no damage or hit to cause it. After researching it seems to be a common problem with the Ford Edge sunroofs.

Shortly after purchasing my Ford Edge, it developed condensation in the tail light compartment. It has progressed into a leak in the tailgate leaving water in the brake light compartment. Since then, the leak has caused my lighting system to quit working which poses a safety threat. This obvious design defect poses a safety threat. Further, I see many other Ford Edges out on the road with this same defect which poses a safety threat to numerous drivers on the road. Ordinary wear and tear could not account for this problem so soon in the life of the vehicle and very shortly after I purchased it. (certified, pre-owned from the dealership). I am a careful and conscientious owner, as the general condition of the car shows. I have not done anything to the car that would cause this defect.

My wife was inside at work and the 2015 Edge was just sitting in the parking lot. She got in after work and started the car and boom the back window just shatters. Not remote started or anything. It was about 27degrees F outside. The window literally broke at all 4 corners. I have read there is a recall in Canada for this issue but not one here in the United States. This is a wonderful way to start xmas is with a $600 repair bill since Ford says it's not covered under warranty.

Wavy pattered cracks on the back panel of panoramic sunroof glass with no indication that something fell on it to cause the cracks. I was not in the car when it happened and do not leave my sunroof shade open all the time, so I cannot be sure exactly when the cracks happened. I leave the shade closed during the hot summer months.

I own a 2015 Ford Edge titanium trim. Both panoramic sun roofs have developed cracks for no apparent reason. I believe this is a significant safety issue as I can hear the glass grinding as the car flexes while driving. Each roof panel developed these cracks at different times. In neither instance was the car subjected to unusual or severe driving conditions.

Purchased a used 2015 "certified" Ford Edge titanium 3 months ago now. The sunroof will not close. I am being informed its the sunroof racks and those are not covered in either my certified warranty or my power tran warranty. How can a sunroof only used 3 times racks break unless they were already messed up and the dealership thought it would be easier to get rid of instead of fixing.

- bought a 2015 Edge sport at gaudin Ford, las vegas in May 2015 - had it serviced in Aug 2015 for recall 15B21 a - pillar water leak inspection and repair - Oct 2018 after a heavy rain, drivers side floorboards flooded - Oct 2018 took to dealership to fix, they claimed it was water leaking in from the top of a repaired windshield. Had it fixed by safelite. - Feb 2019, multiple days of rain in vegas... again, the floorboards flood, crackling in the speakers. - called gaudin Ford multiple times (5-6) from service manager, vehicle rep, GM and head of service dept... calls not returned. - made two calls to Ford customer service hotline in Oct 2018 and again in May 2019 for help... both times said this issue is no longer covered by your warranty. - want Ford to fix this origination issue from manufacture date (I have documentation that it was from the plant that the issue originated from) and I want the lack of customer service from gaudin Ford to be addressed.

Rattle in the pillars and the panoramic sunroof, when driving the car at speeds between 35 and 50 miles per hour. I have had the car at the dealer, hawk Ford in St. Charles il. Several times over the last 18 months. The dealer has replaced the sunroof, side airbags, and seat belts. I have read online that there may be a structural problem with this year, model Ford, where the pinch weld holding sunroof mounting bracket had a bad weld. The rattle is so bad at times I am concerned that there is a structural problem with the vehicle.
