Takata recall I called local Ford dealership (mullinax on northlake blvd.) and was told that takata has not released the replacement part for this recall. They don't even have a release date! so now I'm driving around with a faulty airbag!!

Tamara recall. I have made attempts to get a rental until a fix is available. I am concerned for my safety of my 6 year old son. Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Edge. The contact heard an abnormal noise progressing from the brakes and the brake pedal was difficult to depress. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for inspection and recommended that the vehicle be taken to a dealer to replace the brake booster. The dealer (ray pearman Lincoln, 2501 bob wallace ave sw, huntsville, al 35805, (256) 536-7451) and the manufacturer indicated that the vehicle was excluded from a service campaign and refused to provide a solution other than the part being replaced. The contact was uncertain that if the part was replaced the failure would not recur. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags). The manufacturer provided no solution and was contacted to determine when the air bag recall repair would be provided. The approximate failure mileage was 122,000. Takata recall I want to make a complaint about how long it's taking to have my car fixed. When will the parts be available"???? why is it, that no one has an estimated date of when the parts will be in???" this is disgusting! as an american I am livid! this is a life or death issue. Why isn't the gov't getting involved. I am furious.
Takata recall--Ford will not fix airbags. Was told by ac collins Ford. That their are no parts.. the recall was over a year ago. Everytime we get in this car, we are taking our life in danger!!!! Ford needs to fix the airbags. And not give us a run aroung!! Ford had takata put the airbags in and they are responsible!!

Takata recall, NHTSA recall number16V384. Since June 1, 2016, Ford has not replaced our front passenger side airbag. Due to the nature of the air bag problem we are not able to use the front passenger for fear of injury to the occupant. This is been going on for over a year, updated 9/22/2017
