Takata recall, Ford Motor Company safety recall notice 16S26 /NHTSA recall 16V-384 was issued by letter dated July 2016 and have not received anything from Ford Motor Company. On 10/25/17 received notice from takata holdings Inc. Where they had filed chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in the us.

Takata recall dealer has notified us of this recall and is awaiting parts for replacement. We have been checking with the dealer for replacement part delivery for over a years now and each time we inquire on the status we are told that they have not received any shipments. In addition, we have been placed on a list but no notification as ever been received.

Have contacted multiple Ford dealers requesting replacement but was told it is under " advanced investigation" and they are unable to replace it as they do not have air bags. Have requested this replacement on 3 occasions, since recall was issued. This is a safety hazard and I'm uncertain what to do.

"takata recall" - I received the legal notice for the takata airbag inflators chapter 11 bankruptcy requesting me, as the owner of an affected vehicle, to register my car and call a local dealership to replace the recalled part. The issue is, the dealerships here in shreveport/bossier city Louisiana do not have the parts and have been waiting for the replacement parts for more than a year and a half!!! that is completely unacceptable. These airbags were recalled on both my husbands truck and my SUV. The dealership could not give me an estimated time frame for arrival of the replacement parts. What are we supposed to do? thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

No accident involved. I received a "airbag recall letter" from Ford July, 2016 and called gene messer, lubbock, tx. The respondent said they would get back to me when they had the replacement parts. The phone call has never come. So what am I to do? a salesman at the dealership recently told my brother that they have used cars they cannot sell because takata is bankrupt and replacement parts are not available. So if the dealership can't get them, what am I to do, except drive safely.

Takata recall I received this airbag recall 06/2016 & called auto nation in St petersburg fl to have this resolved quickly. I was put on a list & told to wait for a call. I've made several follow up calls only to be told they don't know when I will be called. Last call I was told they aren't sure it will be resolved. As an elderly female I am very concerned what will happen if I am involved in an accident. Please let me know asap,
