The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V267000 (Electrical System, Power Train). The contact stated that when the vehicle was started, there was a loud popping sound coming from the engine compartment with a clicking sound near the fuel tank. The contact-??s husband inspected the engine compartment and noticed that the battery had exploded. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 55,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
When driving down the highway at 80 MPH, vehicle lost all infotainment and instrument panel. This happened several times, battery and alternator were tested and returned nothing. Upon completion of the drive, the vehicle would not start and the alternator had to be replaced. Approximately 3 months prior the drive train lost power and the turbo had to be replaced.

The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle briefly jerked, after which the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power. The driver was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway, where the vehicle was able to restart; however, upon shifting the vehicle into drive, the vehicle shifted into reverse instead. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. An unknown warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V267000 (Electrical System, Power Train), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 11,000.
My vehicle started with not accelerating and bogging down when going after a stop, it shakes/jerks from 1-3 gear. The rpm-??s jump all over the place and at times it will be very low speed, jerking when trying to shift. I haven-??t even had the car two years, I have two children and this happened at an intersection and scared us all. It had happened so many times I-??m scared to drive it. I took it to a ford dealership, they were able to recreate the issue and said it may be the transmission. There are now warning lights on or anything indicating what the issue is. They told me to keep driving it until a code comes up or to wait till June when they can inspect it. It just keeps getting worst.

The automatic transmission was leaking (at about 12K miles) a heavy amount of fluid. I noticed a foul/burnt smell while driving with the heater/ac/vent on and that occurred around [XXX] I noticed a puddle of fluid on my driveway around [XXX]. The car is currently at Aaron Ford of Escondido, CA, and they confirmed the problem. The dealer is waiting for parts to arrive to repair/seal the transmission. My safety was put at risk because the leak could have rendered the transmission inoperable and could have caused a serious accident while driving. Only the dealer has inspected the vehicle. Defective water pump caused coolant leak and the serp belt to deteriorate at 30,000 miles. Previous years of this vehicle have been recalled for this issue but mine was not recalled. The service department refused to fix the damage caused to my car under warranty. The water pump was replaced under warranty but I had to pay for the serp belt.
I took the car in to get it checked for a grinding noise that was being made when I would pull out of a parking spot. They found that the rear differential went out and needs to be replaced. This is on a 2022 Bronco Sport with 41k miles. It is currently at the Ford dealership but the part is on back order with no eta.
My car lost power on the highway. I took it to the dealership. They had the vehicle for 2 months and said it was repaired under warranty/recall. The same day that I received the car back, the same problem occurred. They kept it for a few days and said they could not determine the issue and released it back to me yesterday. This morning, it lost power again, while i was taking a left hand turn into oncoming traffic. I was almost t-boned. There is an huge safety issue here that is being brushed off and I-??m afraid I will end up in a terrible accident.
Rear brakes moan when reversing at low speed. Has done this since day one. Also the transmission shifts are hard and hangs in sport mode and won-??t shift. It hangs at almost 5k rpms and when I let off the gas no shift till 2300 rpms. Took it in and they looked at the transmission fluid said it was darker than usual for the mileage (14,000) and recommended a fluid flush that-??s not covered by warranty. They changed fluid and I ask why it was doing this they said -?? well that-??s why we changed the fluid-?? which tells me nothing! Now the engine compartment rattle in gear and the transmission temperature after driving only 5 miles is hot enough to fry an egg on so my guess is it runs too hot and is burning or oxidation why else would it be black?

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to determine to cause of the squealing sound. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The wrench icon which refers to the Powertrain system keeps coming on. I received a message from the Ford pass system that there was (Fault) in the Powertrain system. That power was reduced. Further it said to see a dealer right away. All of the Ford Dealers in my area are all booked up.
Received a Powertrain malfunction/reduced power warning at 190 miles. Noticed large oil leak on garage floor which turned out was leaking from TPU due to faulty cap. Car has been at dealer for 8 days to replace fluid and cap and no explanation provided for powertrain warning.
