As so many of you are reporting the same problems, I am concerned. This started last week. I was driving down the road @ about 30 MPH. I had accelerated a little, and when I let off of the accelerator, the engine stalled. I put the trans in neutral, and it fired right back up. Trying to figure out what was going on, as I was going down the road, I was playing with the throttle and it occurred again. I am now concerned. I parked the truck over the weekend, because we went out of town. Monday morning, as I am coming to work. I have already driven about 16-20 miles, and as I accelerate from a stop light, the engine is surging and I see the Tach jumping up and down. as I turn onto a side street, I hit the throttle and when I release it, the engine shuts off again. I restart it, no problem, but from time to time the tach jumps up and down. This is a serious issue. I was hoping to find a definite answer from reading the complaints from everyone else, but the most I come to realize is that the dealerships can't figure it out either... Why isn't there a recall on this issue yet? IT IS DANGEROUS! I guess I am lucky, that I have almost 80,000 miles on this truck before this started to happen, while others are having this issue with way less miles. If anyone has any information on what to do to fix it, please let me know.
Thanks
