When applying brakes on wet pavement ABS system activated, but failed to stop vehicle, causing extended stopping distance, and resulting in a collision.
While traveling in damp weather and when depressing the brakes, one of the rear wheels would lock up, causing consumer to skid. Dealer has been contacted.

On wet pavement, approaching stop sign or stop light, when applying the brakes normally, the brakes lock up, causing the vehicle to skid. Accidents have narrowly been avoided. The problem seems similar to the one that led to the recent recall of GM SUV's and other vehicles. The vehicle has been taken back to a Dodge dealer to be checked out, but they found nothing wrong.
Electrical system suddenly went out all gauges radio etc front area. Checked all fuses and nothing was burnt out. Restarted engine four times before reset and then was ok. Have had recurring locking of brakes and grinding lose of control at low speeds and on wet roads. Disc brakes have no wear indicators on pads and it resulted in being worn down and ate into the front rotors before I was aware that the pads were shot. I had to buy new rotors and pads and the replacement pads also did not have indicators. The dealer stated that was the way that they were manufatured and I then stated that this was a severe and potentially dangerous and deadly oversight and that it should be corrected. I contacted Chrysler and they stated that they had no recall on this and that they had no technical problems or bulletins on this. My battery also suddenly went out without any warning and it caused the engine to die. I could not restart the engine and a new battery had to be installed. Power windows went out and could not be opened or closed by drivers switch.
While driving in neighborhood another vehicle pulled out in front. Consumer slammed on brakes and front wheels locked up, vehicle skidded and slammed into the vehiclein front. Contacted dealer who said that brake pads never touched the drums. Also, rear arm actuator power windows will not go up or down.
While driving in one lane and approaching a stop light on a 35mph road. On weet streets, and while trying to slow down, front brakes locked up and vehicle slid into another vehicle.
Upon traveling on dry or wet pavement and when making any stop consumer had difficulty in stopping. Brake faded away, resulting in extended stopping distance. Consumer has contacted the dealer.
On two different occasions the vehicle was invoved in two accidents. In both cases vehicle was coming down a hill when brake failed to operate on wet road conditions. Reason unknown. Vehicle have been inspected by dealer and informed that nothing could be found.
Consumer experiencing brake failure. Whenever vehicle is used in reverse on an incline the vehicle would only slow down, but will not stop properly. Dealer/mfr. Notified; dealer informed consumer that they cannot duplicate or resolve the problem.
