Since purchase, the vehicle has had multiple erratic no starts, caution lights illuminate, wipers activate, horn sound off, and an array of other electrical bugs. After taking the vehicle to the dealership multiple times with could not duplicate actions, I was told that the floor mat was sticking under the pedal contacting a sensor causing the no start issues, which is documented on their service report. Since then, we have dealt with the issues as they were sporadic. Now, the no start condition has led to the replacement of the tipm unit as well as 2 fuel pumps. It was towed today for the same faulty conditions that led to the expensive repairs. While we have had issues with intermittent electrical bugs while moving, the majority of our issues have involved no movement as the most common issue is the no start condition. My vehicle has been in the shop the last 3 weeks, required two tows, and is continuously burning up fuel pumps. Chrysler has not modified/re-engineered their tipm unit according to the dealership as the part number has never changed. I am concerned that I have another faulty tipm module causing damage to my vehicle, which has decreased the reliability. All of my receipts are in the glove box of the vehicle which is sitting at the dealership, so I cannot upload the documents showing the repairs right now.
Car turns off completely randomly at a low speed while driving. Turns back on. Its very dangerous. It has happened on streets as while as on the freeway. Not safe while driving, especially with children in the car. I did some research and this happens a lot with this particular vehicle. I have taking it into the dealership 3 or 4 times now. Some people say that the egr valve is the problem. I feel like this needs to be addressed before someone is injured or killed in accident due to this defect.
Vehicle 'completely' shuts off while driving, and you have no control. It has occurred twice in this month (1/5/19 & 1/10/19), and both times it has created an extremely dangerous condition, for each time I was driving on city streets. Each time it has happened at low speeds. The motor also has a constant jerking feeling at lower speeds.
Shuts down randomly while driving and loses power steering, difficult to stop. Occurs in any condition or speed. Sometimes traction control warning light comes on right beforehand. Inability to control vehicle after engine shutdown. Has occurred when driving straight and when turning. Has occurred at low speed and high speed. Has occurred on city streets and highways. I just chose one date but it has happened numerous times. There have been multiple near misses of crashing or being hit while vehicle.

My van was inspected by our mechanic for an ignition switch issue, where the ignition switch moves into the accessory position when driving, stays in the "on" position after the key is shut off and the key fob is removed and at times will not allow the key fob to turn into the "on" or "accessory" position. When this happens, the vehicle is still drivable, but various features, like air conditioning, back up camera, radio, etc are not available. Not sure what all features are available, like airbag. Our mechanic has seen this issue reported by other 2010 Chrysler Town & Country 3.8L touring and Dodge Caravan owners and has been informed that they were eligible for the L25 recall. When I contacted the dealer that I purchased my 2010 van from new, they told me that my van was not included in the L25 recall. Need to have this issued reviewed again, since my 2010 van is having the same issue that has been reported for other vins.

My vehicle powers off for no reason while driving. It's been doing this for over a year and I've spend hundreds of dollars trying to figure out what's wrong. Now it's dead every morning when we try to start it. Service center says it is the tipm and will cost $1200 to replace.

Driving down the road and the car shuts off, check engine light comes on, esp light comes on. My car shuts down on both street and highway and in motion.
The van will shut off driving down the highway. It locks the key in the ignition. It has done this multiple times. It has left my children and myself at risk of getting hit because I loose control of everything. I can't even turn on hazard lights to warn people of vehicle not working.
Engine cutoff while on the freeway. All functions went dead except for lights. Unable to remove key fob from ignition and unable to restart car. Noticed blown fuse. When fuse replaced it blew immediately upon trying to restart car.
Chrysler Town and country 2010 the wireless ignition node is problem R03/NHTSA 14V-373 but I call Chrysler said my car is not incluse recall, but 2 day ago my car suddlely engine shot down on the highway.
It began with the front wipers coming on (as if it was raining) on a sunny day.. and the switch wouldn't shut it off. Have to pull the fuse to get them to stop. Then this progressed into not cranking, as if dead battery. I believe my problem is in the keyless switch.. as the battery is new, and I've had both battery and alternator checked. Both ok!
4.0 L V6 engine 1) while turning right from a stop onto highway, the power steering failed. - I drove into the passing lane, luckily no one was in that lane at the time. So the car was speeding up 10/30/18 traction control light briefly on 2) car in motion, decelling from 35 mph, turning left across on coming traffic, the power steering & the power breaks went out. Hard to turn & hard to break, barely stopped in time. Had to turn off & back on again 11/17/18 traction control light briefly on 3) for the past 6 months, there have been occasions where my car would not start until like the 7 or 10th turn over of the fob. Car not in motion
The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated that the front driver's door, front passenger door, and the sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle failed to secure electronically. The contact had to constantly check the key fob to ensure that the doors were secured. On several occasions, the key fob failed to secure the doors and they had to be closed manually. In addition, the rear sliding doors failed to electronically remain closed and opened after being closed several times. The dealer (montgomery Chevrolet, 5325 preston hwy, louisville, ky 40213, (502) 968-6111) was notified of the failures several times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 136,000.
First problem is the drivers side back door does not open. It stopped working electronically and manually as well as the window. The lights on the dash flicker off and on, radio turns on and off, the van door dings, and it dies while slowing down or even when driving. It happens in town or on the highway
