We were driving. I asked my husband to clean the windshield. As soon as he pulled the wiper stem, the headlights went out. The car restarted, but the headlights wouldn't come back on. We pulled over again and opened the hood. The car would restart, but now the dash cluster was out along with the headlights. We turned the engine off and weirdly, the headlights came on. They were flashing on and off, over and over. Within the next ten minutes the car would start but wouldn't shift out of park. From there the armrest controls stopped functioning, and eventually the car just chattered when the key was turned. Then it wouldn't even do that. It completely died. Four weeks and $1600 later, we have a new tipm L. the entire electrical system was fried.

While driving my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica it will stall. This often occurs at speeds less than 40mph. This is a safety concern and when I called the dealer they did not seem familiar with the problem. This could very vellum result in a fatality since there is no warning. The car will loose steering function after the stall and I will need to attempt to pull out of traffic to restart the car. I am uncomfortable that the manufacturer has not recalled this or attempted to correct this problem, which seems fairly common.

When we exit the highway the cars stalls and sometimes even lunges. We have taken the car to 2 different mechanics and they say there isn't anything to fix. Chrysler even said there isn't anything they can do. I feel this a major safety issue because when this has happened to me I've had my grandson with me and it took 4 tries to get the car to start again. Also when driving in rush hour traffic the traffic can stop suddenly which will cause an accident. Chrysler has fixed this problem on earlier years of this model, I don't think they want to be bothered with repairing a known issue on a vehicle they no longer manufacture.

I bought this car almost new (it was never titled - Chrysler has used it as a corporate car), with 15,000 miles on it. I have replaced the engine mounts four times (the first two times under warranty). On the latest instance, the mounts had been on the car for about 15 months and 28,000 miles. They failed and damaged the right front axle, which also had to be replaced, for a total cost of about $2,500.

The first time I had to have the motor mounts replaced on my 07' Chrysler Pacifica was in 2009. There was an awful almost slamming type noise and the vehicle "jumped" when accelerating. I took the vehicle to the dealership, it was still under warranty at that time and they said the motor mounts were cracked and they would replace them, but couldn't guarantee how long they would last. The mechanic said that it was "an issue" on the Pacifica model as it was a design flaw and he had seen this problem often. Since the first time the motor mounts were found to be cracked in 2009, I have had to replace the motor mounts 2 more time and now they are broke again; totaling 4 times in 7 years!!! this is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! I have called Chrysler quite a few times in the last 4 years and got nowhere! they could not care less that the consumer has to pay for their "design flaw"! if I had known that I would have the same problem keep repeating, I 100% would not have bought this vehicle! and if I had known that Chrysler would give me an arousing "oh well, too bad for you", I 110% would not have bought from this company! how sad that even after all the money they have made off people buying their products they won't do anything to help! inexcusably disgusting!!

The vehicle shuts off while driving at low speeds mostly it happens when going around curves. I took it to the dealership they were not able to find any problems with it they just said they could replace the 2 fuel pumps for $900 but could not guarantee that would fix the problem. I did not have the pumps changed. When the vehicle shuts off loss of power assist steering is lost and power assist brakes making it dangerous to navigate to a stop to restart it.

My vehicle continues to stall without warning while I am driving. It generally happens while turning left and always under the speed of 45 mph. I have taken it to several dealerships who have fixed different things they feel is causing the stalling and nothing is working. I have paid for the repairs and the dealership says unless it happens when they have it they cant diagnose it. I have almost been hit several times because the cars behind me have no warning the car is shutting off. I have contacted Chrysler who told me to take it to a dealer and they would "help" me figure out what is wrong with the car. So I did and they cleaned the throttle body and gave me new spark plugs. Chrysler was going to make me pay for the repairs and I fought them on it and they agreed to pay for the parts and I paid labor and the car is still stalling. I have read online hundreds of other complaints for their Pacifica stalling and doing the same thing mine is. There is a recall for the 2005/2006 vehicles for the same thing but not for the 07 model. I don't understand how Chrysler can ignore this problem when so many people are complaining about the same issue as the vehicles that were recalled. I am in fear of my life and the lives of my family while driving this car I can guarantee I will get hit eventually and I want it on record that I tried everything I could to get the problem resolved with no luck.

First week in June I sent my Chrysler Pacifica to athens Dodge Chrysler Jeep in bogart ga. The steering was locking up on my wife. I figured it was maybe the power steering. The tech informed me that the motor mounts were again broken and they replaced the right one for the third time. I read in social car chat rooms that the motor mounts are failing in just about all these type cars, and that Chrysler was not going to cover the costs. I now have a car that no one will buy or at least I wouldn't because it can't hold its own engine. I know this is a consumer concern just wanted to point that out. My main concern is the steering locking up with my family on board. Motor mounts are not supposed to break unless there is a major accident. In my opinion this is a manufacturers design flaw that they are dumping on us consumers. I mean if they told me the motor mounts were going to be a maintenance issue I would have never bought the car. This is absolutely ridiculous, and now my concern is the safety of my family. Please advise me on what I can do to find some kind of help with this. I am not the only one. Where else can I complain and steer others to.
