The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator flashed intermittently. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was not available.

Takata recall. I got a letter couple months ago about a recall on the air bags saying that they are defected and the company who put them in are going bankrupt. Since I been driving the Chrysler(2017) its has been stalling when I drive. When I brought it I asked me man was there anything wrong he said no. There is still stalling when I drive as if its switching gears(kinda like a stick shift) it's scary because I have kids and places I take the car to is saying its its suppose to do that. I've drove many cars and never experienced the problem. When I'm on the highway an I'm on auto cruise it shifts from the # I have it on to a higher level then once again it's like it wants to stalls and kinda jerks. That's not normal at all because if I'm on auto cruise at 65 mph why wouldnt ot just stay there instead of just trying to switch gears? every day when I leave its jerks when I pull off as I'd it's a sticks shift. Happens literally all the time. I took it to different shops one says it's a recall but others say it's nothing wrong and I cant find anything on who I'm suppose to talk to and really get this looked

My vehicle rear ended a stopped pick up truck at approximately 35-40mph. Prior to and during the accident, the forward collision warning didn't activate in time to help stop the car as well as the air bags never deployed throughout the accident.

My airbag light is constantly coming on. The reason for the light is the airbag switch under the front passenger side seat. Whenever the is on a bumpy road or it is tapped by someone's feet in the back seat the light is tripped.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator kept illuminating, which was a safety concern. The contact stated that the wiring harness was replaced after the failure occurred more than four times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (jim browne Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram tampa bay, 10909 N Florida ave, tampa, fl 33612, (813) 452-5499) several times, but a permanent solution was not provided. In addition, the vehicle kept stalling. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer for over two months for diagnostic testing. The dealer indicated that they replaced the engine assembly, but the contact was uncertain if the failures would recur. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was not available.

My vehicle constantly turns off and abruptly stop while driving, while coming to a stop and/or while up in speed. When it turns off stated select desired gear, all lights come on. Transmission, enigine, red Z, battery light, and won't start immediately. Airbag light has been on since I purchased car. Won't go away. Car beeps when turning.

I live in Arizona and went out to my car to leave work yesterday. It was 101 degrees outside and the temperature reading inside the car was 110. When I turned the car over to leave there was an alert saying that the air bags need to be serviced. I have never seen this before. It went off as the car was cooling down but then came back on then off. The temp went to 101 and has not come on again as of today. I am concerned that it can either be the sensor getting hot or the actual air bags. The risk could be that the air bags could deploy when I am not driving or while I am driving. Or not deploy at all if I was ever in an accident.

Muiltple problems with the engine. It's been replaced &I I'm still having a problem with it.. this is the second time have to pay a deductible due to the car randomly shutting off. Shifting into N.. the first time they said it was an internal engine leak:.. then within a few months I started having the same issue. I've had the car for a years & I haven't been able to move it in 3 months. The car keeps having problems after problem and it's still under the warranty.. but I'm paying the payments on a car I can't use for no other reason but factory problems

Parking brake sensor is faulty. Dashboard says parking brake is on. However I reset the park and light on dash should go off. Doesn't. seat belts alarm stays on when seat belts are all clicked closed. Faulty. Air bag for passenger seat always says broken & not working, therefore if in a accident I can sue Chrysler for injuries because air bag won't deploy. Transmission shifting is jerky and not smooth. Faulty needs to be recalled for these 4 items.

My air bag warning light has been on since approximately a month after purchasing the vehicle in June 2016. It had been reported later the same year the issue with the air bag warning and the electrical system issue, there has been no contact nor resolution to this issue. My vehicle can be stationary or in motion, this air bag warning is making me anxious for my safety. I understand that my VIN# was not included in the original recall, but how is that my issue. I had this car for less than six mos. In 2016 it is now 2018. I thought that surely upon contacting customer service in 2016 and filing the complaint the issue would have been addressed and resolved by now, but to my dismay I have not received as little of a concern or inquiry regarding the safety of this product.

The vehicle was taken to hendrick Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge (7630 hendrick auto plaza, concord, nc.) where it was diagnosed that the electrical wires were faulty. The failure was repaired but reoccurred. In addition, while attempting to start the vehicle, the check engine warning light had illuminated and an independent mechanic performed a diagnostic test indicating the throttle body was faulty. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 66,000.

I have a 2015 Chrysler 200 that has been having some issue with the dash lights flickering and now the lights are going completely out. I thought the instrument panel was the only feature affected until today on my way to work the headlights completely went out as well creating a very bad situation on the highway. I was unable to see while driving down the road for a brief period of time. I just check it for recalls but did not find my vehicle however there are other earlier models that appear to be having a similar issue that were covered by recall is there any way that a recall may be arriving on this vehicle? I have also noticed that the service air bag light came on shortly before all of this started as well as a code was tripped for faulty coolant sensor as well. All maintenance and upkeep has been done on this vehicle including tires pressure sensor replaced and routine oil change as well.

The car states that the airbags need to be serviced. I have had this checked out before and the dealership reset the system, but the warning keeps coming back. Also, I have been having issues with my transmission. I have had this checked out before and and the dealership hooked it up to their computer system, but I have been having constant issues with the transitioning of the gears. It jumps alot and runs rough. My car also has been stalling in the middle of driving and while parked. Just recently the car isn't even starting. It takes awhile for it to start up. The check engine light is on too and I received a message that states that I need to service my transmission.

I was driving my car this weekend when the seat belt light came on.. on March 21, 2018 I called the Chrysler dealer near me and set up an appointment to have it checked out. Later that day the service man called and said it was the air bag on the passenger seat and both had a short wire harness, the cost would be about $1080 each which I spent $127 to have it checked out. That has already costed me $2500 to repair. I did not have it repaired because I feel this is a Chrysler safety problem. At this time our air bags don't work. Which is a huge safety problem. I feel this is a safety issue that Chrysler should be responsible for. This dealer told me that they have had a number of service calls of this same problem. I also called two other dealer, and they told me they have had many issues of the same problem. They all stock replacement parts so this must be an a serious issue. The dealer called our extended warranty co. And it was not covered.

My light for the front passenger has turned on. I called the Jeep dealership last year around July of last year and told me they could do nothing for me because my VIN number was not part of the recall. I've experienced air bag service warnings along with service parking brake warnings and service and. At one point I was on cruise control goj G 65 mph when all of a sudden all the warnings came on at once and my car shifted itself into neatral and then loss power for a second. Luckily no one was behind me. I never received a notice of this recall but when I looked it up there was in fact a recall.

Service airbag system message appeared in the message center and took it to the local Chrysler dealership and was told the code was for passenger airbag squib circuit open. Service advisor went under my passenger seat and said the plug was defective and needed to be replaced but in the meantime play with the connector and it will make contact and go off. I've searched online and have found numerous other instances of this complaint and even videos showing which connectors under the seats to play with to correct the problem thus turning off the light but it is only temporary and will illuminate again with frequent vibrations from driving. I called Chrysler recall hotline and was told no recalls were in effect for this and no tsb either which I find odd considering the dealership even knew about the issues and stated that it is a common issue with the cars.
