The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving at unknown speeds, an abnormal clunking noise was heard. Additionally, when the push to start button was pressed, the vehicle failed to start. In addition, the gear shifter was difficult to shift into gear and the air bag warning indicator was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (premier Chrysler Jeep Dodge, 13000 I 10 service rd, new orleans, la 70128, 888-358-9233) where it was diagnosed that the system needed to be reset and the bolts needed to be tightened. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failures recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and did not assist. The failure mileage was 38,193.

"takata recall" my 2015 Chrysler 200 started displaying service air bags, and then the service engine light came on after that it shut off twice and now it won't crank up. But the dash lights stay on and the radio playing, so I had to disconnect the battery. Each time the car shut off, I was driving and I was on a major road in the city doing the time period people is getting off work. The car is parked in my yard and will not crank, I believe it is a electrical probably.

I have been advised that the repair is over $1,000. How is this not a defect/recall when airbags have never been deployed on my vehicle" how is this safe to sell cars that have airbag defects without recalls"

The "service airbag system" warning light comes on regularly. I have had the car to the dealer 5 times for repair. Wires and a sensor have been replaced but the problem has returned. My last visit they said it wouldn't happen for them and there was nothing more they could do unless I return with the light on. The problem happens regularly but intermittently while driving. I have seen other recalls with similar issues for this car. Is there a recall for my car. If not, why?

Takata recall, . I purchased this car used a year ago, within a month the service airbag light came on. I took it to dealer and they said the was the olug under the seat and reset the computer. He said to keep the area below the passenger seat clear so the plug doesn't get moved. A month later the service airbag light came back on. I can't keep bringing it into the shop. Now I have to inspect the car and it fails because of the stupid airbag. It's costing me money and time. This model needs to have a recall done for safety.

(1) I purchased my car in October 2016. My car cut off in the middle of a very busy city street intersection. I had to keep blowing my horn and keep hazard lights on. My two children were in the car with me! it has cut off a total of 3 times since I purchased it, less than 2 years ago. I took more than 3 minutes to start up again.(2)the car also jolts, while driving, a lot causing everyone in the car to push forward off of the seats.

A few months after purchase, airbag light and message states service airbag. Took it in for servicing, stated sensor was bad and they would have to order sensor.($100W/warranty). The airbag light has not come on for months.latelt it's been coming on pretty regular. I suspect a wiring issue as well. When vehicle is parked for awhile the light goes out like it should, only to come back on when it wants to.

A transmission warning light, service electrical throttle, air bag warning lights came on my 2015 Chrysler 200 purchased from enterprise cat sales in may of 2016..the vehicle began hesitating while driving as if I was shifting in neutral.I took my car to three rivers chrylser dealer West Liberty avenue in pittsburgh in February of 2018. I also asked to have my brakes done.I was asked to purchase a new upgraded vehicle which I declined.I took my car back several times between three dealeaships between March and June because it was in worse condition than when I gave it to them.smoke coming out of the tail pipe, sounded like a mack truck, stalled, coolent leaking. I had it towed three times.they would not give me a loaner car and were not helpful in anyway. I returned it to another dealership this week now June. The electrical throttle light came on again, engine warning lights coming on and I was told the car was unsafe. I believe this car was recalled and the recall repairs were not done on this vehicle. I contacted the warranty company that had my extended warranty. My car was under warranty when I brought it in February. According to an email, the dealership submitted the services "supposedly" completed in February to them in March and April after the warranty had expired. I believe they purposely did not complete the work in February in order for my warranty to expire and I have to pay them out of pocket. Now I have a car payment and no vehicle. Jim shorkey North huntingdon Chrysler dealership is stating the car is unsafe. I have only been given the run around from Chrysler customer care and the dealership/

The car keeps stalling whenever I try to turn the car on. I've checked the battery the alternator and starter and they were all good. Also the airbag light indicator keeps turning on and off and the check engine light spontaneously turns on and turns off. Also when going down hill with foot on break the RPM accelerators, also one headlight keeps going out but turns back

The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,823.
