While idling at a stop light, another vehicle suddenly drove through a red light and got T-boned and pushed into the contact's vehicle. The contact's vehicle was severely damaged on the front driver's side. The air bags did not deploy. There were no injuries. A police report was filed. The other two vehicles involved in the crash were totaled. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated prior to the crash. The contact took the vehicle to an unknown independent repair shop in St. George, Utah where it was diagnosed that the rims, grill, tires, and headlight capsule needed to be replaced. Takata recall - recall was issued 5/27/16 and Chevrolet dealer in ocala and recall website told me there is no remedy yet. I think since more than 1 1/2 years have passed that this is an excessive period of time to have come up with a remedy when my safety is at risk and does this affect the value of my vehicle for trade-in or resale?

Drivers side airbag not working. Paid $100 to have it checked and it has recall. Unable to use horn or cruise control. Worried if in an accident will not have drivers airbag.

Passenger side airbag sensor light default. Diagnostic shows airbag passenger side. Fails inspections due to this. This is when it's moving, stopped, stationary. I have been told numerous times that it's airbag recall but not on your VIN. This has been going on over 1 1/2 years now. We have recd notice of recall and VIN # still notlisted
"takata recall" there has been active recall for well over a year now on my truck and the dealer keeps telling me when they get the parts to fix it they will contact me to bring it in. How long does it take or how many more lives have to be affected before this will be fixed. I am scared to drive my truck always worried about these air bags. I have been on dealer list for over a year to have fixed. Can you help
Takata recall- the dealer in aiken, South Carolina said they could not get the parts and I still get notice in the mail from tk holdings Inc. About contact my dealer to schedule a free repair.. I have lost value to my truck plus hurting my ability to sale the truck. Unable to ride on the passenger side I need answer what to do..
Takata recall; called classic Chevrolet of grapevine, they told me that the recall notice was sent out prematurely. My concern is if I get into an accident before the parts become available and the airbags don't function properly, leading to more legal trouble. Find this very unfair and unprofessional.

Takata airbags: It has been years since I received a recall notice, but to this day no dealership has been able to obtain replacements! what is being done about the failure to remove this danger from my vehicle?

Takata recall ; received notice in early July 2016 after service notice came up on the dash in March, nothing since. Today's date 10-25-2017. I plan to sue if anyone is injured due to the lack of a timely repair. Excuses are all that have been received from dealership. Lost a customer
