I received a recall notice back in July 2016 and have not been able to get the airbags replaced. I am being told each time I call there is no solution at this time. I once again checked today and still no solution. I am concerned that when I go to sell my vehicle I will not be able to sell it due to the recall or I will be liable if I do sell it.
After 3 1/2 years of recall, nothing has been done to this vehicle due to Chevrolet saying "later" you will be notified. I feel this amount of time is neglect.
I was driving and there was snowy conditions, but I came to a complete stop then proceeded to turn left, it was slippery but I hit nothing and my curtain air bags deployed for no reason scared the crap outta me, I stopped and checked my vehicle there where no new damages and not another vehicle in site"?? my neck now hurts and I'm confused on why my air bags deployed??"

Same story in January 2017, July 2017, Sept. 2017, November 2017, Oct. 2018, Oct. 2018, Feb 2019, and finally July 2019. Stated GM sent report to NHTSA and are still waiting for a reply. This is unbelievable ! who is responsible for for the safety in case of an accident and someone is hurt. It does not take 4 years to resolve the safety of this passenger inflator. Other companies have replaced this air bag. Why is GM dragging their feet.
