The vehicle was parked under a tree during the day while I went to work. The tree blocked the sunlight but the truck was still quite hot due to the black interior and hot temperatures. After work, I noticed that there was a crack in the dash that went from the airbag to the middle seam. This, along with another crack that was new, makes the dash flimsy and you can see it vibrate when driving down the road. I believe that if the airbags were to go off, pieces of plastic from the dash would break off and become a safety hazard, the truck is in excellent condition and has been properly maintained.

I dont even know if this is the right place for this. My airbag sensor was giving me warnings since the summer of 2016. Finally late 2016 early 2017 I got a notice that my airbag sensor was recalled. Since then I have checked multiple times to see if they had a fix for it. Nothing. For almost 4 years I've been driving a truck that if I was in any kind of collision we dont know what would happen. I received a recall notice back in July 2016 and have not been able to get the airbags replaced. I am being told each time I call there is no solution at this time. I once again checked today and still no solution. I am concerned that when I go to sell my vehicle I will not be able to sell it due to the recall or I will be liable if I do sell it.
