Shoulder belts work intermittently, sometimes do not stay, housing sometimes comes off. Dealer not aware of the problem. No warranty. Also, ABS brakes do not stop properly when pedal applied. In addition, integrated child seats are not able to function safely. Consumer concerns are with children. While travelling in vehicle doors open/close randomly, posing a safety hazard. Problems still exists. Provide further information.
When appyling brakes the pedal travels to floor, causing extended stopping distance. Cause unknown. The consumer stated that brakes failed causing an accident in which 5 people were injured.
Vehicle hit head-on. Air bags did not deploy. Side window shattered. Vehicle towed. After repairs, vehicle pulls to right/transmission does not work properly/ door locks go up & down when driving and braking is very hard.
Whenever brakes are applied quickly, eg., in a panic stop, there is no power assist and it is impossible to stop vehicle quickly. When brakes are applied slowly, they work fine. The brakes have always had this problem since the vehicle was new more than 3 years ago.
Everytime the brakes are applied, the front wheels lock up; causing vehicle to pull to the left & then right. Hit dirt embankment. Ended besides telephone pole on side of road. Vehicle totaled.

Owner has ABS brakes, vehicle experiences extended stopping distance when brakes are applied. Pedal also goes to floor of vehicle. Dealer found no problem.
Brakes: Driving on interstate at 60mph, getting off ramp, applied brakes, and pedal went completely to the floor and car did not stop or slow down. Lifted foot off pedal, reapplied brakes, this time they took hold.
When brakes are applied the pedal goes to the floor. In order for the vehicle to stop, the driver has to stand up on the brakes. When the vehicle finally stops, its pitches forward. The dealer has inspected the vehicle 3-4 times, and informed the owner that the braking system was okay.
Upon making a stop the brake pedal became very difficult to depress, causing extended stopping distance and loss of brake effectivness. In addition, the location and the design of the horn makes it difficult in an emergency to locate and depress the horn. Also, due to the shape of the windshield there is a strong reflection of the front section which is very bad during certain daylight conditions.
Under normal road conditions when hitting the brakes the pedal goes almost to the floorbroad, has to pump the pedal to get like they should be. The system has ABS.
