When applying brakes under normal braking conditions pedal dropped down to the floor and there was no pumping sensation, causing extended stopping distance. Vehicle crashed into the rear of vehicle in front. This happened on a smooth road surface and in dry weather. The truck is being repaired.
When driving at a high rate of speed and applying the brakes, they go straight to the floorboard, and the vehicle keeps going. Consumer will pump the brakes until vehicle slows down and comes to a stop.
ABS braking system malfunctioned, causing extended stopping distance which may result in a crash. Been to dealer several times. Dealer cannot determine the cause.
Reporting complete ABS failure; dealer notifed and refused to repair or acknowledge recall on the ABS system. Seeking help from NHTSA on this matter or provide additional information.
