Viajaba con mi esposa, una empleada Y mis tres hijos (8 a"os, 4 a"os Y 9meses) afortunadamente solo hubo golpes Y dolores de cuello. On Sunday, June 22, at 5:00 P.M., there was an afternoon rain and I was traveling on the transamerica highway aia (which crosses America) going towards guatemala city, at approximately 80 kilometers/hour (50 miles/H). When taking a gentle and open curve, I lost control of the wheel, as if the vehicle was floating. The vehicle began to spin like a top, clockwise, and went off the right side of the highway. It turned over on its right side and slid for 10 meters in this position. I was traveling with my wife, an employee, and my three children (8 years, 4 years, and 9 months). Fortunately, we only suffered bruises and neck pains. I've always been aware that the Blazer is an extremely unstable vehicle; I've also experienced the brake pedal inexplicably going to the floor; and that the alternator of these vehicles goes out before 40,000 kilometers. My theory of the accident: A dangerous and unstable vehicle encounters all of the necessary elements: Water on the pavement, and small curve, and a speed that the vehicle does not tolerate, precisely because of the vehicle's instability.
The car surged and lost oxygen to brakes, etc. I have had exhaust system replaced, new tires, new computer E prom, egr valve cleaned numerous times, new injector unit installed, brakes replaced, total tuneup to try and rectify the problem. I still continue to have to have the carbon cleaned out of the egr valve as the car will not run properly. I purchased the Blazer from ricko ent. Inc. 16 moulton rd, rochester, nh, 03867.also known as first city motor sales in rochester nh. The owner, richard ottino agreed to cover the cost of repairs but never did. The total of repairs that I have paid to date is $1,266. I sent the dealership a certified letter with all copies of the repair bills.
Engine check light on constantly, brought to dealer, replaced egr valve, second time cleaned egr valve, third time replaced fuel injector, fourth time replaced egr valve again, fifth time replaced fuel injector again. Just picked up from dealer today, and service engine light is still on.. dealer does not seem to be able fix the problem. I need some help, there has been too many problems with this vehicle.

We have had repeated problems with this vehicle from approximately 4000 and going forward. The first indication of problems with electrical was when the emergency flashers were used the first time and it blew the electrical system at approximately 4000 miles we had owned the Blazer less than 6 months at this time. We have had service engine check light indicator problems repeatedly and was told every time but 1 that it was "nothing" and later we have problems that are conveniently not covered under the warranty any more. The soft plugs blew in the engine in 9-1999 and we were told by the garage that repaired this that he had seen this before... the antifreeze used deteriorates the plugs and they eventually leak and the engine overheats. The GM dealer that we took the Blazer to on this occasions for a second opinion 11-2000 --this dealer had another 1995 Blazer in the shop at the same time with the exact same problem. I thought this was odd for a town of 25,000 people and of course the 800 line to GM customer services advised me that it wan't anything that could be covered. We also had the leather seat replaced on driver side 2 times but continue to have problems with leather splitting and of course this is not covered.. all we are able to get from GM is the answer "no" whenever we feel that something should be covered... we have put over $2000 in repairs in the engine and wipers and fuel injection system in the past from 9-1999 thru 11 28 2000.... and the problems continues.. the service engine soon lifht comes on and the air bag light goes off and on and stay S on for long periods of time... and of course when I called last week on the air bag... lite it was.
While traveling on the highway my engine check gauges" light came one. I looked at my gauges and my oil indicator was in the "red" zone. As I pulled over my engine siezed. At the garage and dealer it was dicovered that the "oil cooler hose" came off which caused all of my oil to release which caused my engine to seize.
Had major dangerous problems since purchased new/ will not repair wiper blades very dangerous and want repair brakes said I had to have a letter from factory ive been caught in the rain and almost killed brake failure has almost killed me ther is alot more of problems I had with the vehicle while it was under warranty I paid for 2 of the egr problems and 2 of the batterties and brake job and a $3178 motor etc etc etc.

While driving to work going down a hill vehicle cut off. Engine check light and brake light came on. Lost all power. Contacted dealer who claimed that it might be bad gas.
Egr valve replaced, oxygen sensor replaced, ignition coil replaced to no avail. On certain occasions engine check light comes on & there is a smell of gas. Truck acts like it will stall out.
Vehicle stalls while in traffic. Engine check light comes on. Mechanic said it was the egr valve that was known to be defective. Defective part only guaranteed for up to 75000 miles, so GM will not pay for defective part to be replaced.
This problem has occured twice on this vehicle and results in the complete loss of all engine oil and an immediate loss of power. Each time it happens it is only by the grace of god my family and I narrowly escape a serious accident. I would imagine numberous people have had this problem probably resulting in engine freeze-up and more potential damage not to metion oil slicks on the roadways.
After long distance travel engine check light came on and will stay on. Dealer has looked into the problem, and said that it was a computer problem. They have replaced computer twice, but problem still occurs.
While driving engine check light will light up. When the brakes are applied it feels like the power assist brakes are lost, consumer says that the brake could be stood on and there would be no response. Deale rhas been contacted.
Failed fuel pump replaced, fuel filter replaced, vehicle is still extremely difficult to start. Egr failed causing rough running and stalling. Spark plugs failed causing rough running and stalling. High pressure oil hose failed causing potential loss of engine oil. Left door remote lock failed causing door to remain locked when remote unlock is attempted. Crankshaft rear main seal was replaced under warranty but still leaks.
