— Mercedes-Benz is recalling more than 50 model year 2019 SL450, SL63 AMG and SL550 vehicles because the bolt connections at the front left mounting points on the rear axle carrier castings may fail.
A driver will suddenly notice changes in the vehicle's handling.
There are 36 vehicles recalled in the U.S. and 24 in Canada.
Mercedes dealers will inspect the front left mounting points of the rear axle carriers, and the automaker will offer to repurchase the vehicles if defects in the bolt connections of the rear axle carriers are found.
The recall is expected to begin December 31, 2019, but owners may contact Mercedes at 800-367-6372 and refer to recall number 2019100018.
