Porsche Recalls Panamera Cars Due to Anti-Roll Bars
Porsche recalls 715 cars with rear axle anti-roll bar connecting links not up to specification.

— About 715 Porsche Panamera cars are recalled in the U.S. and Puerto Rico because of problems with the anti-roll bars.

  • 2017-2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo
  • 2017-2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive
  • 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid
  • 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive
  • 2018 Porsche Panamera 4S Sport Turismo
  • 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo
  • 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo
  • 2018 Porsche Panamera 4S Executive

Those connecting links can detach from the rear axle anti-roll bars and cause the detached parts to damage surrounding parts related to the suspensions.

The problem is caused by dirt that enters the components and causes increased wear and tear. A driver may notice noise from the rear axle and a yellow warning light on the instrument panel.

The message will say, “Chassis system fault. Visit workshop. Adapted driving permitted.”

Porsche says it's unaware of any crashes or injuries, but dealers will still need to replace the connecting links for the rear axle anti-roll bars.

Panamera owners may call Porsche at 800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AJ06.
