— Hyundai is recalling 37 model year 2018 Genesis G80 and Genesis G90 cars with rear windows and windshields that can fly away from the cars.
Genesis Motors was created in 2015 as a division of Hyundai, with plans to have six models on the roads by 2020.
It didn't take long to order the 2018 Genesis G80 and G90 recall after it was determined the wrong primer was used to bond the glass to the cars.
Hyundai is concerned the incorrect primer could lose strength over time and cause the rear windows and windshields to detach.
The 2018 Genesis G80 and G90 recall should begin June 30, 2018, when dealers will begin replacing the front windshields and rear windows.
Affected Genesis owners may call the automaker at 855-371-9460 and refer to recall number 177.
