— General Motors is recalling 154 model year 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab trucks because the passenger frontal airbags may fail to deploy.
GM says the problem is caused by frontal airbag modules that may have been damaged during assembly.
Chevy and GMC dealers will need to replace the passenger airbag modules when the recall begins December 26, 2018.
Affected truck owners may call Chevrolet at 800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 800-462-8782 and use recall number N182198820.
