— Porsche is recalling nearly 18,000 vehicles because the engines can stall.
Recalled are the 2010-2012 Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Panamera Turbo, 2011-2012 Panamera and Panamera 4 and 2011 Porsche Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo.
Porsche says the camshaft controllers in the cars may come loose inside the engines and cause the engines to stall.
Porsche didn't say more about the recall and neither has the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, other than the automaker doesn't know when the recall will begin. Once it does, Porsche dealers are expected to replace the fastening screws for the camshaft adjusters.
If you own one of the recalled vehicles and have questions, contact Porsche at 800-767-7243 and ask for information about recall number AH08.
