— Dodge is recalling over 11,660 model year 2015 Dodge Challengers to repair the instrument clusters.
Dodge says the instrument cluster software on the Challenger could cause the instrument cluster to go into a “reset” condition and fail to perform a “bulb check” on safety warning lights during vehicle start-up. In addition to the instrument cluster failure, the gauges will oscillate at zero and problems will occur with the anti-theft system.
FCA US (formerly Chrysler Group) says the recall has started. Dodge dealers will install what they call a "software enhancement" to fix the problems. It should take the dealer less than two hours to make the repairs.
Owners of the 2015 Dodge Challenger can contact Dodge customer service at 800-853-1403 and give them recall number P74.
