— Honda is recalling over 204,000 model year 2012-2013 CR-V, Odyssey, and 2013 Acura RDX vehicles because they could roll away even if you believe they are in the Park position.
Honda said the problem can occur in sub-freezing temps when the brake-shift interlock blocking mechanism can slow down in the cold weather.
It would be possible for the gear selector to be moved even though the brake pedal isn't pressed.
The recall is expected to begin May 13, 2013. Honda and Acura dealers will install an updated brake shift interlock blocking mechanism.
You can contact Honda at 800-999-1009 and refer to recall numbers S96, S97, and S98.
