— General Motors is recalling certain model year 2013 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles because one or more rear suspension bolts may not have been tightened to the specified torque. This could cause the vehicle to suddenly be a pain to handle while driving.
GM says the affected vehicles were manufactured December 6, 2011, through January 15, 2013. Owner notifications have already begun.
GM dealers will inspect and re-tighten the bolts as necessary. Owners can contact GM at 800-521-7300 and refer to recall number 13008.
