— Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain all-season floor mats sold for use in model year 2012 and 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML-Class vehicles.
Mercedes says the floor mat might not correctly fit the floor and could cause the mat to get stuck against the gas pedal.
A classic case of a stuck gas pedal, similar to what caused the recent recall of Lexus 2010 RX 350 and 450h vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz says dealers will replace the floor mats free of charge, but until replacement mats become available, owners should remove their floor mats.
The recall is expected to begin during September, 2012, and only vehicles equipped with the accessory floor mats are affected.
