— Ford is recalling over 19,000 model year 2013 Fusion vehicles because they may not have had the low beam headlamp projector coating properly cured during its manufacturing process. This can cause a reduction of the brightness of the low-beam lamp.
The affected vehicles were manufactured from February 3, 2012, through October 20, 2012.
The recall should begin on December 10, 2012. Ford will notify owners so a dealer can replace the headlamp assembly. With current questions, contact Ford at 866-436-7332 and refer to recall number 12C27.
This is the second recall this month for the 2013 Ford Fusion. Earlier Ford recalled the Fusion because the engine could overheat and catch fire.
