The uncorrected vibration problem started when I took delivery of the vehicle. In addition, the brakes pulsated badly as well as the display going blank which made operating the car impossible. The screen would come back on after restarting the car. The dealer replaced the brakes, updated the software and that took care of the brake and display problem. They rebalanced the tires and did a realignment. The vibration problem was still there. On the second visit they did a rebalance again, vibration still there. On the third visit they tried tires from an XC90 on the lot that had no vibration and my car still vibrated. The dealer contacted Volvo for help and they suggested checking the drivetrain and awd coupler. The vibration was still there. For the fourth visit Volvo suggested that the two axles and brackets be replaced. The vibration was still there. The Volvo regional tech is coming today 11/2/16, to see if he can diagnose and correct the problem. At this point I want to turn the car back into Volvo as the car is leased. This has been a real disappointment and a very expensive automotive mistake. I believe that this car fits the definition of a lemon.
