2010 R design, 2 years and old maps, no update in sight if any as per the folks who do it for Volvo. The Bluetooth technology 1st generation and does not work well with smart phones, no software or other workaround available. The Polestar technology free in 2012 and later costs $1,500 to update a ten minute software upgrade is all it is, I know, I paid for it. Volvo does not take good care of existing customers and after 3 this will me my last.

Update from Dec 6, 2015: It's now been 4 years since my mapping software has been updated, no matter how high i go they simply told me that since my car was the first part of the year they are only offering updates for the 2010 that were sold second part of the year as they updated the hardware for those vehicles. That's not right, is there any legal action i can take, i have an expencive car and i have to use my phone gps as their is dead in the water with nothing but 2012 software.
