The contact owns a 1998 Volvo cross country V70. Twice within the year, the rack and pinion had to be repaired. After the first repair the steering column continued to lock while driving. The first repair cost $1000. The second repair was performed at an expense of $14000. The failure mileage was 100000. The current mileage was 115000.
