I purchased the VW Vento Highline in Nov 2011. On the 2nd day of purchase, the fuel system was defective, leading to sudden likage of petrol and car stopped on road. It was towed to the service centre. The WV did not acknoledge it as engineering / manufacturing / Quality problem, they have told me it is tampering case. The repair document they give does does not mention this, it is written "fuel leakage", the WV people never gave me the replaced parts (if they claim it was cut/tempered). they have tried to pass the buck on customer, instead of investigating or replacing a unsafe car.
The 2nd major safety issues happened few days back. the car's accelerator pedal behaves irratically. It does not pick up acceleration even after pressing the pedel, however, suddenly it makes engine noise and jumps ahead (jerks ahead). this could have lead to injury to me or fellow people on road. The WV team, as ecpected tell me that it is possibly related to driving too slowley, in big traffic situation, pressing the clutch too long. I have driven cars for more than 14 years in diffrent cities, this comes as a surprise, that i do not know to drive a car. The WV people have as expecetd tried to place the blame on customer instead of fining out details of this major safety issue or replacing the car.
I have no option but to file a case of criminal negligence on part of WV, an act that could lead to homicidal situation (due to car defects).
the incidences has also lead me to remain away from my job, trying to chase WV people for services and caused inconveinece and monetory cost of hiring car each day the car is in service station.
